MOM and I like to read together. Last night it was my turn to pick a book to read. So I choose "Doggone Dogs!". I love this one.
We snuggle in on the couch and I always have Billy join us. MOM reads to me and I turn the pages.
And often this is how we end up. Don't ya just love bed time stories?
Blessings,
Goose
PS- If we are not around the next couple of days don't worry. MOM has a couple of 15 hour work days ahead of her. So I told her she could hold off on my blog. But ya never know, she may decide sleep is over rated. Hahhahaha. If that happens I will just read her a story.
How fun to read together. Goose you tell your mom to get her rest. We will hear all about your adventures when she has more time.
ReplyDeleteMillie
That's so darn sweet. I love how you let Billy join you too. Goodnight, sweetie!
ReplyDeleteAww, looks like it turns into snuggle time. I like for Mommy to sing tunes to me. It relaxes me. Our vet said reading and singing to your furbaby is VERY beneficial. We are some lucky furbabies. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteOh That looks like my Mommy and me, except me is nots as big as yous and me can't turn the pages.

ReplyDeleteYou and your mom have the most wonderful rituals...there is nothing like a good book and some lovin' all in one night. Tell mom to pace herself over the next few days.

Nothing like a good read, a snuggle, and two great pals just being together:0
ReplyDeleteWe understand the busyness. Between Spring Break this week and Holy Week and Easter, the little bipeds are here a lot so Mom's time is at a premium. We may be a bit scarce too.

ReplyDeleteI admit it - I am jealous! I do so miss doggy cuddles. Now Goose - your Mom is going to be even busier next week I suspect, so you make sure to tuck her in nicely each night with lots of TLC and instructions to rest appropriately - sometimes you just have to be strict. Like she is with you when needed. Lots of love and blessings from Mumbai. YAM-aunty
Hey buddy, you just enjoy a couple of days of snoozin and snuggling with Mom. We be here practicing our stick program, OK

Bailey is not crazy about books, but Katy always wants to sniff out my books. Even when the bag comes home from the library she has to sniff it to find out what we'll be reading.

ReplyDeleteHi Goose, Praying your mom has more energy than she knows what to do with. I love the picture-Hunter often will put his head on top of mine during the night-at first I wasn't sure whether he thought he was boss or not, now I think it is just he wants to snuggle. Have a great couple of days. Don't let mom get too tired.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Noreen & Hunter
Hiya Goose...Momz & I read together in bed every night...well, she reads and I curl up and close and try to pay attention...We both usually end up in Dreamland but it's good that we share the time together

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
