Aunt Lydia's Gift

Hey All

My Aunt Lydia from See Beautiful, you know the Lydia that found me roaming the streets of Atlanta.  Well she was worried that I might be cold here in Utah, you know being a Southern boy and all.  So she sent me a special gift to keep my Fathead warm.

Yep this should do it.

Momma says she'll bring this on my winter photo shoot on Saturday.  It's supposed to be a high of 12 degrees on Saturday, but the photo shoot is in the morning, so it should be in the single digits.  I might need something to keep my tail warm too.  Momma says we could tape a sock to my tail.  hehehehhe.  Thanks Aunt Lydia I love my noggin warmer.

Christmas Wrap

Hey All

Just wanted to give a shout out to Zaphod.  Phod was my gift exchange pal.  And boy howdy can Phod pick out gifts!!  I did not get to open my Christmas gifts until late on Christmas cuz my momma was at the shelter cooking up Breakfast and Dinner for the peeps and pups that stay at the homeless shelter as well as for anyone who wanted a Christmas feast.  I will admit I was a bit sad but after momma showed me some photos of her day, well all sadness was swept away.

See this guy?  Yep that is snow he is covered in.  On Christmas is snowed about a foot! He was just one of many who came to get a meal at the shelter.

And even though it snowed tons and bunches....

Momma had volunteers who came in to help serve up all the food and give out hats and gloves and coats.  But soon enough she picked me up from Bert's place and we were home together and time for me to open my gifts.

This one smells fantastic!

It was from Zaphod!!!  And oh my doggness wait til you see what I got.

Treats just for me!  See it says so right on the box... Buddy Biscuits!  And I think you would agree the picture on the box looks just like me.  But wait there is more.

There was this great ball.  I say "was" because the ball is no more, well it's half a ball now.  But I tell you what it was super fun!

Oh and there was this cool drool moose.  I named him Monty and Monty was just as much fun as the ball, only Monty is still intact, well except for one ear.

Phod I loved everything!!!  I even fell asleep with my ball in my mouth, I just couldn't let it go.  Thank you so so much!

ps- for the record I received 68 cards and momma received 9.  If fact I got so many that on Monday after we got back from a hike all the cards were on the floor.  The weight of all the cards made my card display fall.  I am sure it was because of momma's 9 cards.  hehehhehe

Easy

Hey All

It’s with loving thoughts that we light this candle in memory of one of Blogvilles favorites, Easy Rider.  He has made the journey to the Bridge and now has found his way back home to his mom and dad.  More times than my momma and I can count Easy brought us lots of laughter and ALWAYS made us smile.  We are humbled and honored to call him friend and are grateful that he will forever watch over us from beyond the Bridge.  Easy will forever be in our hearts.  And Katty and Mark know that you both are much loved and thought of.  Thank you for sharing your boy with all of us.  The world is a more beautiful place because Easy was a part of it.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas My Friends!!!

My wish for each of you is that this season you are happy and healthy.  That your lives are filled with love, joy, hope and peace and all the treats, balls, and sticks your hearts desire.

Later on, on Christmas day, I will post all my Christmas fun.  But first my momma has to go to The Lantern House homeless shelter where she works.  Momma is going to fix a Christmas lunch/dinner for all who are hungry.  I will spend a good part of Christmas with my best pal Bert while momma does this.  Oh sure I could be sad about not being with my momma but you know what???  I'm OK with that.  I mean I get to spend time with Bert and the gang at Canine Country Club knowing that my momma is doing a small thing so those who would not have a Christmas meal (including doggies) will have a Christmas feast.  And after all isn't that what Christmas is about, giving.  Besides she is going to take Monday off to spend the WHOLE day with me, and a little elf told me that we are going on a snowy hike with my pal Bert.  That will be the best gift of all.

Snow Day Play

Hey All

On Friday I met my friends, Bert, Megan, Miss Sophie and Masiy Day for a fun filled day of play in the snow at a park.  Boy oh boy we had the best time.  We chased each other, romped around, leaped high in the air, and Bert and I had a contest to see who could jump the highest into a pine tree.  Oh and speaking of pine trees, we found a freaky large pine cone.  Momma put it up out of our reach on top of some tables stacked on each other.  And my amazing pal Bert figured out how to get the pine cone!!!  He did it in less than 30 seconds.  All the humans were in awe.  But not me cuz I know Bert is AMAZING and so very very smart.  Hope you enjoy our video of a GREAT, Terrific, Super Fantastic day.

See Beautiful

Hey All

I always See Beautiful with this guy next to me, my pal Bert.  He has really taught this Southern boy to enjoy the beauty of cold snow.  At first I was not to sure about the white, cold, wet, and fluffy stuff.  But now, now I can't get enough of it.  To have friends who show you new things and to be by your side while you discover what wonders and beautiful things that are around you it one of the most beautiful things ever.  And you know what????  Even if I would not like snow and romping in it my pal Bert would still be my friend and be by my side sitting by a warm fire.  I guess I just want to say and let my friend Bert know that I love his fluffy face and what a blessing it is to see him most every day.  I sure hope you all have a friend like that.

Christmas Corner

Hey All

It's that time of year.  Snow covers the ground, the smell of cinnamon is in the air, lights twinkle, songs of the coming hope dance in our ears, children tell their wishes to a jolly bearded dude, and yummy treats are everywhere. 

And the Christmas Card Count begins.  Hehehhehe

This is my Christmas Corner.

Complete with not one but TWO Christmas stocking just for me.

My napping bed even is covered in a Christmas blankie complete with two pillows.

So lets just see how many cards I have received.....  I have 8 cards that have come in the mail and 4 that have come over the interwebs.  That's 12 already.  Momma has 1.  If you are a betting dog put your treat on me in the card count contest.  If I lose then I will personally give your treat money back, I'll even add extra.
