Scoop that Poop

Hello Friends.

Today I am joining with Sugar and Dogster for a very important message.  And here it is.

Now that is a lot of great reason!  I think this is so important I am allowing MOM to put up this photo...

I have a 6th reason for Scooping that Poop:  If our peeps do what they should then more places could be opened up to us doggies.  And then just maybe no more places will be closed to us because some people don't Scoop their dogs Poop.

So to all ya peeps out there, Don't just walk away like nothing happened.  Be a Scooper Hero and Scoop that Poop.
Use #ScoopthatPoop to spread the poop...I mean to spread the word.
Blessings,
Goose

  1. Scooping is important! Even though we lives in a a little village, wes scoops. Mommy says even though there is deer and bear and racoon poop everywhere, there is almost as many dogs as people and wes should scoop!

  7. in our yard we have yet another reason not mentioned here.. we follow baby around scooping her poop because if we don't Jake will EAT it. and then throw up in the house, not on the tile floor but on the carpet. are you grossed out yet? we tried everything the vet told us to do and nothing stops him... we have incentive to scoop the poop

  8. We hate when people don't scoop. The campground we stayed at in Houston had a nice fenced area for dogs but people didn't scoop. It was NASTY!

  11. I agree, we try hard to keep things clean, because we don't want to lose our privileges to go places!

  12. Good point - currently in Norfolk there's a big fight over its policy of issuing permits to be on the beash off-leash to dogs who pass the Canine Good Citizen, because of people who mistake that for it being a 'dog beach' and don't clean up. So potentially irresponsible pet owners will threaten a good law that lets responsible owners play frisbee, fetch, etc on the beach with their dogs. Sad.

  16. You look exactly like me, while you... busy. I can't understand people who ignore the mines of their dogs. If all people would remove the recycled food we had not so much trouble with places where dogs are not allowed.

  20. Hi Goose, I waved to you as we cruised by. I missed connecting with you here, while we were away. I am so glad that so many are posting this-a very good reminder. I am always surprised at how many folks do not scoop.
    Have a great day!

  23. My Mum is a pooper scooper and not a pawty pooper, she ALWAYS picks up my poops and even has a bottle of water on hand to wash away anything that is ummm unscoopable! I wish more people could spread the word to those irresponsible people who own dogs that if we all work together we can have a poop freeworls where dogs can be free to go anywhere!
Great poop pic Goose, you do the same pose as me and I do the poop and walk!
Yes Goose Im sure that there is room in my case for you to join me on my Dog Holiday but you need to find your way across the big pond!

  24. Hi Paw Goose! I've been barking the same thing for years! "Clean up the poop if you want more dog friendly places!" It's common sense! BOL!

  25. Thanks for the scoop on the poop Goose - nothing worse then going to the park for a nice walk and having to watch where you step!

  26. Our mom and dad bag our poops as soon as we go - whether we're at home or away. It's just the right thing to do. AND another added benefit of scooping right away is that you know if your pup is having any GI issues. Our vets appreciate that Mom can give them a complete run-down on our poops. Our vet tech said Mom has a PhD in Poopology. HA roowooroo! She's funny!

  28. You are SO right Goose...if everyone scooped there'd be a lot fewer objections to dogs being brought to places like parks, even our National Parks where dogs have been excluded for years...(PS nice butt shot my pal *snicker* )

  29. Very true Goose!!! Always scoop the poops!!! Oh, and what is with the poopie pic?? Why do Moms always take pics of us poopin' and peein'?! Geesh....

  30. A good message--I think it's great reminder with lots of good reasons!!

I hope you all are doing well, and your week is off to a good start!

  31. Thanks for pawticipating Goose! That's one of our top ten reasons to scoop - so dog-friendly places will stay dog-friendly. Lots of beaches and parks are closed to dogs because people don't pick up poop. We think this is really sad because dogs love beaches and parks!

  35. This is great! Scoop the poop-a-loop! Honestly, there were things here I didn't know. Thank you! Happy scooping beautiful...er.....

  36. Thank you for the post in the hop! You make a wonderful point about losing privileges in the places we love because of people not picking up poop. That's definitely something we have to be mindful of.

  37. Scooping pet waste is important for the health of your pet and the environment. Pet waste can contain parasites, bacteria, and viruses that can be dangerous to both pets and humans. It can also be a source of water pollution and unpleasant odors. So it's important to scoop regularly and properly dispose of pet waste. If you want to buy a good Dog Pooper Scooper, you will find it at happydogleash.com.
