Lights in the Sky

Hello Friends.

On Tuesday night we had quite the light show in the sky.  My MOM has for a long time tried to get lightning shots.  She has gotten a couple.  Butt last night we sat on the patio for some time trying to get some shots.  It was a cloudy night and so she did not get the "bolts".  Butt she is very excited to improve on what she got.  I thought they were cool so I wanted to share them with you.  Are you ready?  Good, lets go.

Cool right?  Did you know I like thunder and lightning?  Yep I do.  And it seems my MOM get the very best sleep during these times, which she really needs right now.

On a side note, I want ya all to know that each of your blogs are being read.  Butt sometimes we can not comment on each one.  I'm lucky if my MOM helps me post something at all sometimes.  As you know she works at the church, butt for months now she has not only volunteered at the Homeless Shelter she now works there too.  I am spending more time with Bert during these last several months.  And that is cool, I like it there.  However my MOM does makes sure that we have all the walks we ever did, and cuddle time, and some adventures here and there.  And sitting in the middle of the night on the patio to watch glorious lightning shows.  Now my friends go light up your world.
Blessings,
Goose

  6. homeless shelter trumps blogging every single time... tell mom to take care of herself. Baby girl hides in her condo (back side of walk in closet) when these sky's do this, i don't hide but i don't go outside or even stand near a window. i usual pray for safety when storms come. here in Florida the lightning capital of the USA lightning burns houses and destroyer's trees and kills people. so not sitting on aporch for me

  8. Those are really cool pictures! (That 2nd pic looks like Niagara Falls!)

We think you are the only one Goose who doesn't mind the big storms. We shiver and shake when they come through here.

We love that your Mom helps out at the Shelter!! We all know just how important it is to help others, so we commend her for her hard work and dedication.

Say hi to Bert and the gang.

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle & Muffin

  9. We don't react to the storms but we wouldn't want to be hanging out in it at night. Cool pictures your mom got. No problem about the blogging and comments we all think your mom's work is much more important.

  10. We certainly understand about not having enough time! But you have to go out and live in the world to be able to have something to blog about.

Your lightning show is pretty cool! Mom likes to sleep on stormy nights, too.

  11. Lightning can be so pretty. We like to watch it when it's behind the clouds and it looks like the whole cloud is lighting up.

OMD those are incredible shots! Well done Mom!!! (and the new camera of course...)

Really not bothered by storms Goose? Better than me then. I like them in the distance but the cracking great bomb-dropping things that we get here in Mumbai (or in Sydney sometimes) tend to rattle YAMs teeth and jingle the nerves.

True, cool damp weather seems to improve sleep for us insomniacs though! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
