Fun at the Fort

Hello Friends.

Saturday was a very good day.  I took my gal pal Belle to the Fort to romp with my friends.  I'll just let the pictures do most of the talking.  WARNING:  There are quiet a few photos so grab a snack.  MOM had even more, but I cut them back so you could get on with your day.

There were like 87 dogs there.  MOM says it was more like 20 something, but I am pretty sure my number is closer.

All my old friends were there, like Stanley and Murphy.

Belle and Jessie getting to know one another.

Of course my very good friends Logan and Baci got to know Belle.

Me and Belle

Me and Belle, Annie, Baci and Logan broke off from the pack and took a different path.  Bert took the rest of the group a different way.

It was a beautiful day.

I'm calling out to the gang to hurry and catch up.

One of the things I love about Belle is she loves to go off the beaten path, just like me.

It is so good to have Annie back with us.  She was very sick for a long while, it had to do with Heart-worm.  But she is back and loving life and we are so happy.

The stream is a little low, but still a lot of fun.

I found this great stick in the stream.

We stop for a moment cuz my buddy Logan got a few burs in his paw furs.

Check out this stick!  My beaver brothers sure know how to take down a stick.

Just strolling with Belle in the river.  Right after this shot was taken Belle saw a duck on the river and chased it for like 50 yards.  That old girl is fast in the water.  MOM was so surprised she didn't even take a picture.

Can ya tell how happy I am?  See my smile.

Can you find me?

MOM just loves to watch Logan bounce around.  He's like a bunny.

I love it when Belle chases me.

Logan, Annie and Belle love swimming.

Isn't Belle just beautiful?

We all watch as Belle swims out to get a stick for me.  She's sweet like that.

When we got home we took a nice long nap and dreamed of what tomorrow will bring.
Blessings,
Goose

  8. What a beautiful day you and Belle had! We love that your Mom took a gazillion pictures for us to see. It makes us feel like we are right there with you enjoying the day. Which of course we wish we were! Tho I'd be a little worried that Muffin and I would get stepped on because we're so short.

After all that running around, I bet there was a lot of loud snoring going on last night. I think I heard it all the way here in Florida!

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle

  23. My favorite pix - wait a minute! You've trained Belle to swim out and get sticks for you?!? How cool is that?!?! Wow. OK, anyway - what an awesome time you all must have had! My favorite pix are the one of you smiling and the one of Belle chasing you!
I wonder if Beavers go to some kind of Trade School to learn those skills? We have a Vo-Tech school here that teaches Carpentry - I wonder if there are any Beavers in the program? I think it would be a good fit.
Thanks for taking us to the Fort with you, Goose!

  38. Woo hooo! You guys had some fun times at the fort. Those burrs Logan got on his feet look like they'd really hurt. How nice of Belle to swim out and get a stick just for you. Good times!

  39. Sweet dreams, but it looks like that was a dream of a day - except for those rotten burrs! I can't let Lilly and Buddy see this post. They'd be upset with me that such excitement was taking place and all they got to do was romp around with me in a car and in the leaves and in the back yard. Oh, they'd have it in for me! :)

Happy seeing beautful - as always!
