On a Mission

Hello Friends.

Last night when MOM was shoveling all that snow from the sidewalks and drive way I brought out a bone.  You know, in case she got a little hungry while shoveling.  MOM said, "Goosie, you are going to lose your bone in the snow, better take it back in the house."  Phftttttt.  Lose it in the snow.  As if.  But I did get sidetracked and she was right I lost my bone.  Doh!  The next day I just had to find it.  I was a dog on a mission.

While I was outside trying to find my bone MOM asked if I wanted to wear my Buzzard hat to keep my ears and head warm.  If ya come back tomorrow I will show you my answer.  More snow on the way all the way through Thursday.  With all the snow MOM has to keep piling up, our house just may become and Igloo.  I have slept in a snow cave MOM built once when we were camping and it was pretty cool.  But this way I will have a comfy bed and heat.
Blessings,
Goose

  7. Goose, I always hate to admit this, but sometimes the Mommies are right about things. Maybe you should keep your bones in on snowy days. It did look fun searching for it. That was a good jump!

  29. Hi Goose, Hope you found your bone-if not just wait and you will eventually. I imagine the snow has moved on by now; it is sunny here but still really cold. We didn't get near what you guys got...which is fine for me. Hope you have a wonderful day buddy!

  30. Goose, we are tunneling in the snow over here so we might come up around your house. If we do then we can have a secret tunnel between our houses. We will watch for the bone too. Oh, and how was that raccoon poop?

  31. Hey Buddy, we just now got to the computer cause we been outside shoveling snow since 5 am. For a while there we thought we had lost all the kennels but we found them, dug them out and now our guests can go outside to play.

I was wondering (and I want to say this delicately) but does your, you know, thingy, get cold in the snow. I only ask cause mine has lots of hair aroundit and you, well you don't got much hair anywhere so I am assuming, (I don't know for sure,c ause I havn't looked) but was just assuming it might get a little cold down there.

Hope your warm and comfy right now, it looks like it is starting to snow again here and you are only a mile or two away.

Aint this the greatest winter ever......
    Bert
