OVERTIME

MOM loves football.  But I really don’t get it.  When she watches a game I mostly sleep (except when she jumps off the couch shouting, that wakes me up).  But on this day I wanted to play.  She kept saying, “Hold on, the game is in OVERTIME, in the SNOW!”  I understand snow, but what is this “overtime” she’s so excited about and when will it end?  I could take it no more and must be heard.

Her team won.  And then I won, cuz she took me on a real long walk and when we got home I got a special treat.  Maybe this “overtime” thing isn’t so bad.
Blessing,
Goose

  5. Our peeples like watching football too. We like it better when they play it with us rather than watch it on that tv thingy though.

  6. Early in the football and basketball seasons our dogs are a little bit upset. They are not accustomed to hearing all the shouting, clapping, and hand-banging-on-the-table actions. And there was plenty of that during the Packer game. Before long they get used to the noise and understand that we will all go out at halftime and play. Then take a long walk when the game is over.
