Tasty Balance

Hello Friends.

Oh the fun never ends at my house.  As I am sure you know it is Girl Scout Cookie time.  Several of my MOM's kids at church are Girl Scouts.  I was puzzled when MOM came home with several boxes cuz she really should not eat the yummy goodness of cookies.  Although this time of year she talks about how much she really like the Do-Si-Dos and remembers how yummy they are, then sighs.  So again I was surprised why she had a few boxes.  But MOM assured me that she was going to take them to St. Anne's Homeless Shelter for the children there.  But first...

She thought she would balance one on my nose.  (Please excuse the weird lighting she forgot to turn on the flash).  I have balanced things on my nose and head for a long time.  But never a Girl Scout cookie.  Then she remembered how cool Miss Sugar is when she balances all kinds of yumminess on her nose and head.  So she wanted to see what I could do.

THREE, that's right 3 yummy cookies balancing.  But wait... there is more.

That's right pups and kitties FOUR Do-Si-Dos balancing.

Check this out.  I can even balance them while they are leaning.  The leaning tower of Do-Si-Dos.

I find the key to success is to hold your tongue just right.
Nothing like a balanced diet.
"OK, enough MOM can I have one now?"

MOM did let me have not one BUTT two cookies.  It was sort of a role reversal for us.  While I ate my two cookies MOM drooled.  Bawhahhaha
Blessings,
Goose

    1. The real trick is to throw your head back so the cookies fly up in the air and then you catch them and chomp chomp

  14. We don't have any girlscouts in our community in Florida. I don't think 90 year olds can be in the organization. Mommy really misses the Thin Mints.

You did pawsome Goose. We are truly impressed with your cookie balancing skills. That last picture is priceless!

  17. Oh, Girl Scout cookies are a sore subject at our house right now. Dad came home with two boxes of Thin Mints, one box of Lemonades and one box of Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies. Mom got four Lemonades and that's it. The Peanut Butter ones are her favorite and she didn't get one single bite. Maybe we should offer to guard them for her next time!

We adore that last picture of you!

There's no way I could do that, Goose - my hat is off to you! Of course, I'm not allowed to have Do-Si-Dos, but I don't think I could swing a stack-o-Stinky Goodness Treats, either!
    You're the PUP! Seriously.

  27. Hey Goose, Wow what a trick-wish Hunter could do that! I'm sorry your mom can't have the cookies-I can't either because of gluten. It is better for her health though to avoid them(at least it helps keep me eating healthier). I wanted to tell you that when we went snow shoeing, we just rented the equipment for a day-it was just $5. per person-so I'd tell your mom that is what she should do to see if she likes it. You are both so oriented to hiking and camping, I bet she'd love it.
    Have a great day!!!!
Wags and nose poke from Hunter to you.

  37. I'd balance 100 frozen thin mints on my head if it meant I got to eat them all. What's important to note: I shouldn't eat them all. It's a good thing I can't eat 100. I would. In one sitting. Yummy!!!!

Goose, btw, you're such a talent. Your talents just never end and that's so cool!

  43. That's awesome Goose! You are a champion balancer of Girl Scout Cookies! I wonder what the world record is. Four looks like a lot!

I read your older posts (sorry for my lack of comments but my hands don't work right)... and I've been getting a lot (I mean about 20 per day) of weird anonymous comments, and they're driving me batty! I would turn them off but I worry about cutting off someone legit...

Keep Smiling Mr. Goose. It's great being you, isn't it (rather than trying to be Bert)?
