First let me thank each of you for all the great birthday wishes. Thank You Thank You! It was a great day and I know being 13 will be great as well. So, let me show you some of the fun. I apologize for maybe putting up to many photos. It was hard to choose.
First thank you for so many comments on how young I act and look. I do feel young, but as you can see I have more than a few white furs that have appeared.
My friend Shasta (she is the church secretary's dog) gave me a gift.
I knew it was something yummy, beef and bacon sticks.
I got some cool cards. One from Mayor Madi and from Schatzie & Gracie. Look at those pups carrying a stick to me.
My very good friends Buddy, Lilly and Lydia sent me all these very cool drool books!
Get out your pen and paper, you are going to want to write down these titles to add to you library. Ready? We have Doggies, The Poky Little Puppy, Harry the Dirty Dog, Love that Dog, Pantaloon, Hey Al, Officer Buckle and Gloria, Doggone Dogs, Walter the Farting Dog, and Dog Loves Books.
WOW! I don't know where to start. I am going to have so much fun reading to my MOM and even more fun reading to little peeps.
MOM got me this crazy squeaky monkey.
He is super soft and so much fun.
MOM also got me this puzzle. She got me this because all the other "puzzle" toy/games she has gotten me I have mastered in no time. The sales clerk told MOM this one is very challenging and should take quite a while for me to figure it out. We'll see about that.
OK I see the treats goes in there, the lids closes, MOM turns the thing and the treats disappear. Now I have to figure out how to get them out.
Ha Ha Got It!
I even took off the flaps that cover the hidey holes. That took all of 70 seconds. So MOM gorilla glued the hidey flap things down so I could not take it off.
No problem. Lift the flap, spin the thing, get the treat. Piece of cake. This time it took 39 seconds.
Another method is this: Pick up the puzzle.
Flip it on it's side. Treats fall out.
Eat the treat. New world record less than 20 seconds. I am the Puzzle King.
Next MOM and I watched my favorite move, Best in Show. My very good pal EASY gave me this movie, as you read a few day ago, along with tons of other fun birthday stuff.
That sure is a beautiful actress on the screen. The one in the middle. Woof Woof.
I ended my birthday by reading to MOM one of those great books.
Then Billy read me to sleep.
What a wonderful birthday. Of course the bestest gift ever is that my MOM took some time off of work so she could spend a little more time with me on my birthday. I was so surprised when she picked me up from BERT'S and it was still daylight outside. I am the most blessed pup ever! Thanks again everybody for making this day extra special.
