Random Stuff

Just thought I'd show you some random stuff from the last few days.

First I played some foot ball with MOM

I love this game

Then it was time for a little nap

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Really MOM more pictures of me sleeping?

So I moved outside for some shut eye.  Sheesh, the lawn needs to be cut.  A guy could get lost out here, or at least a Puddles.

Hahahahha I crack me up

MOM is it time for dinner yet?

Nothing like a nap after a good meal

Then of course there was some fun with Bert and Murphy.

Check out this cool place for romping

In all seriousness while I was sniffin' about, Bert and Murphy where working closer to the river to try to locate a 3 year old boy who fell in the river a couple of days ago.

I found this toy in the woods next to the river but I don't think it was the little boys.

When they finished working we all got to play together.  I am not winking in the photo above, just taking extra care with my eye.  But it is getting better, almost back to 100%.  Woo Hoo

While I found me a stick, buddy Bert was... well you know where he was.

Yes it is true, he has webbed feet

Murphy keeps an eye on Bert

Did I tell you I found a great stick?

Well that's about it.  If you wouldn't mind keeping the family of the little boy in your prayers.  And remind you peeps that when water runs high (and even if it's not high) keep a close eye on those little peeps.  This family was taking a family photo by the river and just like that he was in the water.
Blessings,
Goose

  6. You never waste a minute of the day, Goose! It is wonderful how you carpe diem all of the time! (Momma says this has nothing to do with fish, either)

  7. How on Earth is it that I didn't have you on my Blog Roll??? Needless to say, I do now! Gee ~ sorry about that Goose! Now I'll be able to follow along with the fun you have every day!

One of Mom's new rescues, "Cricket" really likes sticks too. She picks up and carries around sticks that are like fifteen feet long! NO KIDDING! She's crazy! You guys should get together sometime.

Sorry to hear about the little boy. Mom said she'll say a prayer for him and his family tonight.

Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving comments, Goose! I think we're gonna get to be good friends!

    Your Pal,

  10. Random days are so interesting Goose! Lots of lovely photos of you. Hope your eye soon fully better.

Positive thoughts for the little boy and his family. Sadly an 8yr old fell in the river locally here 5 days ago but the search is now being scaled down.

    Have a good day.

  12. I hope the little boy is found.. SAFE.
I LOVE your type of FOOT Ball!

NOW you gotta get Bert and go BACK and Pick those MORELS. THEY are the most DELICIOUS things in the entire world!!! They cost a FORTUNE when bought in a store. Wonderful as a sandwich or with scrambled eggs. I gave Bert the instructions for cooking them.
    HURRY... they don't last long.

  16. Goose, you are a master at finding great sticks. Me and Stanley love sticks too. Maybe when we can FINALLY go on the walks you can show us some tips to finding good sticks. Our prayers go to the family of the toddler. This must be so unbearably painful for them.

  20. Hi Goose. Thanks for stopping by my blog. You asked if I was going to add a "follower's" gadget, and I want you to know that I have done that. We're thinking about the little boy. So sad...

  21. Hi Goose, Thank you for sharing this need with us-I will definitely keep the little boy and his family in prayer. When I was in elementary school I found a toddler in the bottom of a pool, he survived but that memory has stayed with me forever.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for our new pup....it is a doodle(although that had been on my initial list but just too big and too expensive for us). Our little guy(my heart is already taking him in)is 4 mos old, very cute and ....breed. Please pray that he will be healthy and will transition to us easily. I cherish your prayers.

Sadly the very same thing happened here a few weeks ago with a four year boy too....took their eyes off him for a minute and he was gone.....sadly it didn't have a happy ending they found him 4 days later in the river :( I am glad to see you looking like your old self again, hope you are feeling much better again Goose.

  30. What a sad story. When the rivers are running high, you also have to watch out for your pups. We almost had a Lab washed away about 20 yrs ago. She fell into a raging river, and the Runner snatched her back as she bumped into a log on the side of the river. It was super super scary. We learned a lesson (even though Labs have webbed feet like Bert's).

Glad that the eye is getting better!
