Two Seperate Adventures

Hello Friends.

On Saturday I met up with a few friends for a little adventure.

We started out romping and running.

It was a glorious day to be out in God's beautiful creation.

We ran up hills.

At one point some of the peeps were saying things like, "I don't want my dog to get to dirty.  What about water and burrs?"  And things like that.  Oh we were having a grand time, butt it came time for us to part ways.  I wanted to press on no matter what lay ahead, be it mud, water, even burrs.  In all fairness I do not have much of a problem with burrs.  I have such short sleek furs they don't seem to stick to me.

Adventure awaited just over that hill.

I explored through lots of brush and trees.
\
Found a secret water hole that some ducks were swimming in.  (Sorry no photos of the ducks.  I think I startled them when I busted through the cattails.)

I convinced MOM to cut through a steep embankment.  The look convinced her we could get through it.  And we did!  Nothing ventured nothing gain.  Isn't that what they say.

Found a pond to cool my paws off in.  I wish MOM would have taken a video of this so you can hear what I heard.  While the scene was great it was the frogs that were all singing a beautiful chorus.  It was incredible!

Played hide and seek with MOM.  Can you see me?

I paused for a moment or two to watch some of my geese friends swim in this pond.

Yes indeed it was a beautiful day for a hike with my MOM.  Butt I wonder how the other doggie faired on that glorious day.

Miss Vickie sent my MOM some photos of there "safer" hike.  Lets take a look see at how their walk went, shall we?

Hummm I thought they did not want to get dirty?  Well that is odd.  I wonder if Golden Boy Bert did any better than Miss Sophie.

HAHAHHAHHAHHAHHAAAA  BAWHA.  Hey Bert's Vickie how did not going with us do for you.  I am sure glad you all did not find any mud or water to get into.  Just think what a mess you would have on your hands if you did.  HEHHEHHEHE

So while Bert was no doubt being hosed off and being scrubbed I got to go home and take a nice nap, on the couch, in a sun puddle.  Awwww life is so sweet.
Blessings,
Goose

Today, was supposed to be just as warm but a wave cloud is covering us-so it is overcast. Glad your momma didn't have to bathe you. Silly Bert and Sophie. Have a great week buddy.
