See Beautiful

{This Moment} See Beautiful iBlog Hop is inspired by See Beautiful.
It's a once a month blog hop, 2nd Friday of of the month.
Simply create a blog post that made your day, week, month inspiring you in Seeing Beauty.

There are many things that have made my day, week month beautiful.  Let me show you a few.

This little guy came and visited my yard when we were flooding it.  Just flew in, took a swim, ate a bug or two, and quacked every now and then.  I see beauty in his carefree do his own thing way.

Playing with my beautiful gal pal Belle.  She just oozes beautiful in everything she does.

The beautiful sky on an evening adventure with my MOM.  The beauty may be in the sky but most importantly it's in the relationship between me and MOM.

And this photo show tons of beautiful.  Can you see it?  First, St. Anne's Homeless Center is there to help anyone in need. Inside the Center are people who have dedicated their lives to helping people see beautiful in themselves and in the world around them.  And standing in that line waiting to get a nutritious meal, are some of the most beautiful people you would ever want to meet.

Beautiful surrounds us.  You cannot look in any direction without seeing it.  Whether it is in the beauty of a sunset or the beauty in the eyes of a homeless child.  If you are having a hard time seeing beautiful my suggestion is you look in a mirror, for there is where you find that beauty starts.
Blessings,
Goose

  4. Mom and Dad have a saying painted on their bedroom wall that says "Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it." I think it's very true, and I'm glad that you are blessed with the gift of always seeing it!

  14. I like how you included the people in need as those who you find beautiful. So many people see them as ugly and unwanted. But that's not how God sees them, is it?

  16. Oh Brudder Goose...if only more hoomans could sees beauty in just da every day things it would be such a better world..but apparently there lives are just too busy and too fast furs them to stop and really SEE with their eyes and hearts...what a shame and bein; too busy is such a terrible excuse.

I personally LOVE hows you included da homeless shelter...made my mum a wee bit teary eyed. Them peoples do be beautiful, they can't help what has been dealt to them in life fur whatevers reason...but look in their eyes and you will sees hope.
And a big thank you to those dat be helpin' at St. Anne's.

  20. I think that I even see a dog in the line at the homeless shelter. You've done such a wonderful thing, figuring out how to provide for the dogs of homeless people.

It's funny... about "seeing beautiful". I see beautiful only when I'm in the right state of mind. When I'm too sad or too angry (lately, mostly about K's illness), I don't see the beautiful around me. But, even just consciously searching for the beauty around me can help me to feel better about everything. It goes both ways.

Thanks for a thought-provoking post. We are thinking of you.
