This must be my week. Well truth be told every week is my week. Every single week, every month, every day is wonderful and beautiful, and sweet (even in this heat). But what I am talking about is I got ANOTHER something in the mail. It came to both me and MOM.
It's a book. And a great book at that. It was co-written by my friend Miss Lydia from See Beautiful. I asked MOM if she would read it to me right away. So she set aside the stuff she was doing and she read me the story of Isabel and Emma.
This is a wonderful story about friendship, courage, generosity, fear, and oh so much more and the pictures are great.
I love this story. Even though there is some sad stuff it is so beautiful. Emma and Isabel are beautiful. When MOM finished reading me the story I asked if I could read it to her.
I put on MOM's glasses so I would look all scholarly . Then I had a great idea. I wanted to share it with my friends.
So I called them all together: Sneaky Snake, Rex the Dragon, Mr. Giggles, Bret Michael's Want-To-BE- Squirrel, Betty the Badger, and Mr. Coo Coo the Chicken. They were all ready to listen to me read The Long and Short of It.
They were all captivated, hanging on every word.
Just like me and MOM they all loved the story. Then I had an even better idea. I am taking my new book to the little peeps at church and I am going to read it to them. I know they will love it too.
If you have any little peeps in your life I highly recommend you get this book and read it to them, or they can read it to you or even better you can read it together. I'm going to read it again tonight to MOM before I go to bed. Thanks Miss Lydia for the book. It is simply.... well it's simply beautiful.
Blessings,
Goose
Hi Goose Buddy, Me and My Vickie were lucky like you and we got a copy of "The Long and the Short of It" We think it is a wonderful story and we have heard that it is based on a true story. Miss LYdia is so so good and Beauatiful.
