Momma's Shadow

Hey All.

I'm my momma's shadow.

Her shirt says so, so it must be true.  And it is.  Now all she needs is a shirt that says why she gets all wet when we get near water.

Here is a hint:  It's because when Bert and I get out of the water we run over to her, shake and dance around her to throw a rock or stick so we can jump back into the water.   Hehhehehhe

One in Every Group

Hey All

Momma says the is one in every group.

Apparently I am that one.   Hehehhehhe.

I finally stood still long enough for her to get a shot of me and my best pal, Bert, and his sis Megan.

Then just like that I was off again rompin' and runnin'.  I just gotta be me.

Blessings,
Buddy

Easter Buddy

Hey All

Happy Easter my friends!

From me and my momma.

Even though I have to wear the ears, like we all do.

I egg-cept it because I know I get to eat the reward for the goofy head gear.

Blessings,
Buddy

See Beautiful

Hey All

Here we are, the 2nd Friday of the month, time for This Moment See Beautiful.  The ever beautiful Sugar for years has been our host of this beautiful blog hop.  Momma and I have been apart of this hop from the beginning.  Well momma has.  She started with my angel brother Goose and she has continued with me after Goose crossed The Rainbow Bridge.  When I came to my forever home momma told me all about Sugar and how beautiful she was and I tell you what my friends I found out right away that momma was right.  Sugar always made me an my momma See Beautiful, she always made us smile.  She truly was beautiful wrapped in Golden fur and we miss her.  I know that The Bridge is most surly a beautiful place, but with Sugar there I can't even imagine how beautiful it is now.  While we miss her very much I know that she is still spreading the beautiful, even today in our lives.  For we will continue to See Beautiful and share beautiful and think of her with the most beautiful thoughts and memories.  And it's not just me that feels this way.

My best pal and my angel brother Gooses forever friend, Bert, feel this way too.  His Golden furs and the way I see Bert bring smiles to everyone he meets whether he is at the hospital or airport or nursing homes, bringing comfort to those who need it or the way he fully embraces life and seizes every moment as a beautiful adventure I See Beautiful.  Thank you Sugar for sharing your beautiful self with us and with the world.  We are all the better for it and I promise I will continue your message of beautiful where ever I go.  Bert and I love you Sugar and could not be more joyful that you shared so much with us.

Blessings,
Buddy

I Made Momma Cry

Hey All

Yep I made my momma cry.  I didn't mean to, it just happened.  I'm going to let her tell you the story.

On Friday I went to work (The Lantern House Homeless Shelter), some employees wanted to see Buddy. After stopping at my kitchen I went to the main building. Buddy got lots of hugs and pets and belly rubs. When we left the main building out the employees entrance I went left (to the car) but Bud went right. He wanted to leave some pee mail on the grass. When he was finished he kept heading right, with what seemed to be a purpose. So I followed. He stopped on a special piece of concrete. 19 months ago we moved into our current facility. And 19 months ago our director had a special piece of concrete poured outside the employee entrance and we all put our hand print in the concrete and wrote our name. Then someone said, "What about Goose?" I got all choked up as my fellow employees wrote his name in the concrete and drew a paw print (Goose helped raise funds to build a pet area at the shelter.  He went to The Rainbow Bridge 3 months before we opened our new facility). As I looked down at Buddy he was standing over Gooses name and paw print just looking down at it. I don't think I have to tell you, it flat out brought me to tears.

Blessings,
Buddy and my leaky eyed momma
