I'm a WYLD Pale Ale Pup.

Oh and yes, only a WYLD Pale Ale dog can pull off the pink fuzzy hat.  I make this look good.  Well maybe you need a couple of WYLD Pale Ale's or even the BABA Black Lagger to really see how good this looks.  But trust me all the other doggies can't take their eyes off me.  Hehehhhehehhe

If It Were Not For Me

Hello Friends.

I tell ya what my friends, if it were not for me my MOM would have no fun at all.  Sometimes my MOM can get all caught up in all the stuffs she has to do.  A portion of that stuffs is studying, paperwork, tests, writing, blah blah blah.  While I recognize those things are important in what she does, it is also equally important to set aside the books, papers, pens, and study stuff and just relax, have fun and above all cuddle, pet and play with me.

There are times I have to get right up in her face and say, "HEY you need a break!"  I can tell you this, she is ALWAYS very grateful that I am there to remind her that life is a balance.  I mean really she can go back to all that other stuffs after I go to bed.  Seriously can you imagine how dull our humans lives would be without us?
Blessings,
Goose

{what you don't see in this photo is Goose pulling the book out of my hand}

Two Words

Hello Friends.

I have two words for you.....

BALL FREAK!!!

You all know who I am talking about.  And if you don't just look at "Golden Boy's" focus in EVERY photo.  Does not matter who has the ball, me or my MOM he NEVER takes his eyes off it.  Godzilla could walk in the room and he would not notice.... well unless Godzilla had a ball.
Blessings,
Goose

Did I Hear the Dinner Bell?

Hello Friends.

Do you ever wake up thinking you heard something?  Or were you just dreaming?  That was me the other day at Bert's place.

Goose:  "What...what?? Hey little guys and gals did you hear
                anything?"
Frankie: "Not sure Goosie, I'll go check?"
Scrappy: "Willa did Frankie say he would go check?"
Willa:     "That's what he said."
Josie:      "PIPE down, Goose and I are trying to sleep."

So Frankie when to check things out.  Seemed to be gone for a long time.  So long in fact I fell back to sleep.

Then Scrappy, Willa and I were awakened again.  "Huh???? What???  Did anyone else here that?"

Want to know what the sound was we kept hearing?

It was the sound of DINNER!!

Kibble and special soft treats dropping in a bowl!

My MOM was a bit late in picking me up, so Miss Vickie woke me up with the sweet sound of a special little snack for me while she fed all the other dogs.  Bert was hoping I would sleep through the whole thing (that way he gets mine).  Butt has you can hear I am pretty vocal about getting a mini din-din before I go home.
Blessings,
Goose

See Beautiful

Hello Friends.

All together now.... It's time for This Moment See Beautiful hosted by the one and only SUGAR!!  Whoooop Whoop!  2nd Friday of each and every month we all gather to share how we See Beautiful.  So much Seeing Beautiful has happened since last month.  Walks with my MOM and friends, Christmas, feeding and serving those in need, giving and receiving, snuggles, meeting new friends, scenery that takes your breath away, miracles, even changes in my life can and are beautiful.  Let's take a little look see and some of these beautiful things.

Yep a whole lot of BEAUTIFUL.  You know what one of my jobs is?  It's to help my MOM See Beautiful.  She says it is one of my most beautiful quality's.  Butt you know it's what us pups and kit kats, and llamas, birdies, and donkeys, and fishes, and platypuses, well all us critters do best.  We see it in each other and in all that surrounds us.  Sometimes our humans can overlook it.  So my friends do them a favor, point it out to them, share it with them, help them See the Beautiful that is within them and around them.

Next month I will have a VERY special See Beautiful moment to share with all of you.  I want to tell you now butt MOM says we have to wait.  Butt trust me you are going to LOVE LOVE it.  I do and MOM is just over the moon about it.  In fact it brings happy tears in her eyes and a smile upon her heart.

Another beautiful things is happening today.  My friends Murphy and Stanley are being sworn in as Blogville's Mayors!!  If you don't know them hop over to their blog and congratulate them and join the crowd at the swearing in pawty at Madi's.  I'll be there, I hope to see you!
Blessings,
Goose

Game Day

Hello Friends.

Since I can no longer go on my great hikes with my MOM (the mind is MORE than willing, butt my body just can't do it anymore) I have another way to play games.  Like I said the mind is sharp as a tack. So it is important to keep up exercising the mind.

It's a rousing game of Dog-opoly!  You have to be super sharp and cunning to win at this game.

I just have one question..... Why is my brother EASY in doggie jail?

See there he is.  Don't worry brother I will bail or bust you out.  I am sure you were framed.  No matter how one may want to win a game it is far more important to do all you can for a friend in need than win a silly game.

I'll get you out before tomorrow EASY.  See
tomorrow is very important.  I am swearing in MURPHEY and STANEY as our new mayors of Blogville.  And no swearing in or pawty is complete with out EASY.  You can see all the fun over at Madi'sAND tomorrow is This Moment See Beautiful, which is hosted by SUGAR.  And what is more beautiful than playing games with friends and helping them out?

Well just one thing.... This.
Blessings,
Goose

Calm Before the Storm

Hello Friends.

Calm Before the Storm- a quiet period immediately before a period of great activity or trouble.  Would you like to see what that looks like?

The Calm.
Many musical types have sung about "The Calm Before the Storm": The Bats, Eddie Money, Sheena Easton, Fall Out Boy, Pet Shop Boys, Judas Priest, Jonny Cooke and many more.
Now would you like to see the STORM part?

The Storm
A Golden Storm
A BIG FLUFFY STORM!

See my friends every single day my MOM drops me off at Bert's place around 6:30 in the morning.  And most every single day is about the same.  MOM gives all of us doggies a yummy treat before she leaves for work (I get two treat, don't tell Bert).  Then I take a nap.  Then I go outside to stretch my old legs, I come back in and take another nap.  Then around dusk I sit up and stare out the window watching for my MOM to come and get me.  Long about 6 or 6:30 in the evening she opens the door and all the doggies rush to greet her.  You could go deaf from all of us barking our greetings and jumping around and just plain going nuts for her attention.  Aside from me no one is more happy to see my MOM than Bert.  Lets just call him The Storm.  I'm The Calm and he is The Storm.  Every Single Day!!  Miss Vickie took a video of the Storm in action.

Did I mention this happens Every Day??
Making a special appearance in this video is Scrappy, Oakley, Momma (Bert's mom), and Ellie.

In the end The Calm always gets the ball while the Storm can only look on in hopes that the Calm will drop the ball.  And I do drop the ball for my Buddy Bert as I am walking out the gate to go home.
Blessings,
Goose
