Random Day

Hello Friends.
Just some random stuff today.

Here's how my morning started.  The rain is coming, for two days they say.

As you know I am not a fan of being in rain.  And because of the rain MOM said we could not go hike the Bird Song Trail.  Boooo.  I was really looking forward to it.

So since we could not go hiking MOM thought she would get a jump start on Sunday's message.  I thought I might as well help her out.

It's Bring Your Dog to Worship this Sunday so you can imagine that I am a BIG help with the message.  I read to MOM the scripture for this week.  It's about this woman who gave all she had (I think they called what she had a mite).  I started to tell MOM that sometimes us doggies have trouble with mites in our ears.  MOM laughed and said it was not that kind of mite.  A mite was a coin and two of them were worth about a penny.  Then we played chase in the house (I always let MOM catch me.  What to know why?  Cuz it always involves hugs and belly rub), and we played lazer light (I love that), and I took a short snooze on MOM's lap while she read some more stuff.

Then MOM started to get "artsy" with the camera.  She always says these are the Eyes of Love, Devotion, Protection, Beauty, and are Soulful.

All and all it was not a half bad day, even if the rain stopped us from going hiking.  I would even say it was a beautiful day.  Beauty is what you make it, where you share it, and how you see it.
Blessings,
Goose

  13. Goose, the close up photos seem to suggest your eye is less droopy. Your Horner's must be improving. Sunday will be fun. I think your church is so special.

  27. Well, you know that last line was our absolute favorite - "Beauty is what you make it, where you share it, and how you see it." This encompasses you, Goose. I know because Buddy and Lilly show me this kind of beautiful all the time. It's Heaven sent. I just know it. ;)
