The other day my MOM took me fishing. For those of you (including my MOM) who thought my fishing was just a once in a blue moon, just a fluke, never to be done again... You would be wrong.
This is me scanning the pond for the fish
That's my MOM's fishing pole
Me checking out another possible fishing spot
I do not need a fishing pole. All I need is paws and a jaw.
I have found that the best place to catch a fish is under these over hanging bushes and trees
You need to stand very still and be very patience and always looking for any fishes jumping.
Another spot where we fished
Autumn is beginning to show her beautiful colors.
Even the brush are turning bright yellow
And yet the flowers are still blooming up here.
MOM his showing Bert what a fish is. Bert seems to think that is is real cute and is giving it a kiss (sorry you had to see that Charlotte). We did put this one back. MOM has a strict policy that if we are not going to eat the fish with in 24 hours then it gets to live to swim another day. Which brings me to me catching fish. I seem to have a real soft mouth and do not clamp down on them so they are able to be returned to the swimming hole.
I also want to thank Bert for introducing me and MOM to this great place where we can romp and play and fish and hike and camp out. We love it.
Blessings,
Goose

ReplyDeleteOh my, does that ever look like a great place. It's so funny that you've discovered you can catch fish, and your gentle enough to release them. We sure miss seeing the fall colors, living in the desert. We have to drive pretty far to see that here, so we really enjoy your pictures.
