Random Stuff

Just thought I'd show you some random stuff from the last few days.

First I played some foot ball with MOM

I love this game

Then it was time for a little nap

Really MOM more pictures of me sleeping?

So I moved outside for some shut eye.  Sheesh, the lawn needs to be cut.  A guy could get lost out here, or at least a Puddles.

Hahahahha I crack me up

MOM is it time for dinner yet?

Nothing like a nap after a good meal

Then of course there was some fun with Bert and Murphy.

Check out this cool place for romping

In all seriousness while I was sniffin' about, Bert and Murphy where working closer to the river to try to locate a 3 year old boy who fell in the river a couple of days ago.

I found this toy in the woods next to the river but I don't think it was the little boys.

When they finished working we all got to play together.  I am not winking in the photo above, just taking extra care with my eye.  But it is getting better, almost back to 100%.  Woo Hoo

While I found me a stick, buddy Bert was... well you know where he was.

Yes it is true, he has webbed feet

Murphy keeps an eye on Bert

Did I tell you I found a great stick?

Well that's about it.  If you wouldn't mind keeping the family of the little boy in your prayers.  And remind you peeps that when water runs high (and even if it's not high) keep a close eye on those little peeps.  This family was taking a family photo by the river and just like that he was in the water.

  1. We are jealous, what a fun filled day you had!! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Looks like you had a jam packed day, so many activities for Goose!

  3. We are sendin up purrayers fur the little boy and his family. You always find the greatest sticks, Goose! We wonder if you haf a collection of them at home?

  4. Dude, I wish we had known you when I was a working search dog cause I would have tried to talk you into being a search dog to. Boy the way you travel through the woods is incredible. I mean, nothin stops you.

And your always usin your nose. You me and Murphy could have been the best teams ever.

Thanks for coming today and thank your mom for us cause, I don't think we would have found our way out of the woods without her.

  6. You never waste a minute of the day, Goose! It is wonderful how you carpe diem all of the time! (Momma says this has nothing to do with fish, either)

  7. How on Earth is it that I didn't have you on my Blog Roll??? Needless to say, I do now! Gee ~ sorry about that Goose! Now I'll be able to follow along with the fun you have every day!

One of Mom's new rescues, "Cricket" really likes sticks too. She picks up and carries around sticks that are like fifteen feet long! NO KIDDING! She's crazy! You guys should get together sometime.

Sorry to hear about the little boy. Mom said she'll say a prayer for him and his family tonight.

Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving comments, Goose! I think we're gonna get to be good friends!

    Your Pal,

I LOVE your type of FOOT Ball!

NOW you gotta get Bert and go BACK and Pick those MORELS. THEY are the most DELICIOUS things in the entire world!!! They cost a FORTUNE when bought in a store. Wonderful as a sandwich or with scrambled eggs. I gave Bert the instructions for cooking them.
    HURRY... they don't last long.

  13. I'm glad you had a relaxing weekend! I'm laughing over your football game! Kuster would like that.

    Two of a find!!!

  20. Hi Goose. Thanks for stopping by my blog. You asked if I was going to add a "follower's" gadget, and I want you to know that I have done that. We're thinking about the little boy. So sad...

  21. Hi Goose, Thank you for sharing this need with us-I will definitely keep the little boy and his family in prayer. When I was in elementary school I found a toddler in the bottom of a pool, he survived but that memory has stayed with me forever.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for our new is a doodle(although that had been on my initial list but just too big and too expensive for us). Our little guy(my heart is already taking him in)is 4 mos old, very cute and ....breed. Please pray that he will be healthy and will transition to us easily. I cherish your prayers.

  22. We will keep that boy and his family in our prayers,Haylie loves to be rubbed with my feet - we might have to try out that foot ball!

  23. What a day you had....the little boys family will be in our prayers. Sadly the very same thing happened here a few weeks ago with a four year boy too....took their eyes off him for a minute and he was gone.....sadly it didn't have a happy ending they found him 4 days later in the river :( I am glad to see you looking like your old self again, hope you are feeling much better again Goose.

  24. Oh what a sad occurrance.... I will say a prayer for the little boy. He probably got his angel wings already.... sigh.....

Goose, you have a very nice couch on which to get your beauty sleep!!

  25. Hi Goose, thanks for sharing your photos. We have the little boy and his family in our thoughts here too. Well done on helping Bert and Murphy on their search. We know you all did your very best. Take care friend. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  26. Such a sad sad story about that little boy. He and his family are in my prayers.

The brown dawgs said that they liked the swimming and nap parts of your day the best. :)

  27. We will have mama say a prayer for the little boy...Sure do hope he gets found.

It does look like you had lots of fun with your MOM today!! And guys are best buds!!! That's great!

Ain't it amazin' how things can happen in da blink of an eye? My heart just aches furs dat little boy and his family. I hopes they find him soon and dat he is safe.

Oh and I has to agrees withs Bert...ya'll would has made such da perfect team workin' togedders and then afters work you go to da bar furs an after work brewsky. Hmmmm, guess it ain't too late furs da after work part htough. See, I does think sometimes...hehehehe.

  29. Goose, last night we found the special see beautiful snake next to a half eaten roll of toilet paper...we wonder who's being sneaky around the house? It was cause for great laughter and we wanted to thank you for that!

    Happy seeing beauTful!

  30. What a sad story. When the rivers are running high, you also have to watch out for your pups. We almost had a Lab washed away about 20 yrs ago. She fell into a raging river, and the Runner snatched her back as she bumped into a log on the side of the river. It was super super scary. We learned a lesson (even though Labs have webbed feet like Bert's).

Glad that the eye is getting better!

  31. The little boy is in our thoughts and prayers.... You certainly have a busy life, my friend....

  32. I'm so sad for that little boy and his family. So awful. It was very kind of you to accompany Bert and Murphy to work so that you could support them during what I imagine was a sad and difficult search. Much love - XXOO - Mazzie

  33. Woo, Goose! You have been BUSY! Thank goodness you got some napping in.
    Your stick is impressive!
