MOM left me today. Yep just left and went to the mountains without me. She said her and Bert's Vickie needed to check things out and that Bert and I could go next time. That's right Bert didn't get to go either, and it's his favorite spot on earth. So while MOM and Miss Vickie "checked things out" Bert and I hung out at his place. They weren't gone to long and when they came back MOM said I was going to love it when I go next time. Well "DUH" I said. "Of course I will." So I'll show you a few photos MOM took, although they will not have me in them, but they are pretty anyway. And I'll share a prayer my MOM said as she stood atop the mountain among creation.
Loving Creator of all, I come to you today deeply grateful for your creation and it's beauty before me. As I look around I am amazed at the greatness and majesty of all that you have made.
Nature around me speaks of your greatness - the vast expanse of the sky, the mountains, trees, ponds and streams speak of your great design.
You have given me such beauty in the different shades of colors of each tree, the splendor of flowers and grasses, and the grandeur of the rocks. Words cannot adequately express the magnificence of all you have created.
I join in praise with the writer of the psalms when he says, "O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth."
May I show my love and reverence to you, my Lord, by caring, appreciating, and sharing all that you have lovingly and beautifully created. I humbly give you praise and thanks. Amen
Blessings,
Goose

ReplyDeleteI think the two commenters above me got it right! Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! The only thing that could make those pictures more beautiful is YOU romping around in them. I bet there are some pawsome sticks in those hills. They sort of look live with the sound of music, eh?
ReplyDeleteHappy seeing beautiful!

Beautiful...going to write your MOM's prayer in my journal, wonderful words. thank you!!
ReplyDeleteHi Goose, I so love your mom's prayer and the pics are great-I know you'll love it when you get to go.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being such an encouragement to all of us. I would love to get a bigger dog but we found that we had a harder time with a big dog; although there was a standard Poodle that was on the small size I looked at-we just couldn't afford her. Have a great day!
Happy paws to you.
