Some have wondered where is Sneaky Snake. Well as you may know the last time my gal pal Belle was over my house Sneaky sneaked up on Belle and she ripped his face off. But Dr. Carolyn fixed Sneaky Snake, although he did lose and eye. So while Belle has been staying with me the last couple of weeks Sneaky has made himself scarce. But the other night he made an appearance and gave Belle an "I'm sorry for scaring you" hug.
But as you can see I kept a tight grip on Sneaky so there would be no mishaps.
We also spent some time at church
We started with a romp out side
Cornered some Voles
Then I helped MOM hang some banners in the sanctuary
While Belle took a snooze under the pew
Then my good friend Cindy came to fold Sundays bulletins and she always gives me a bone when she comes. She gave one to Belle too.
Then it was off to the Fort to play with my friends. And Murphy and Stanley were there too!
We played in the water
Bert got me an awesome stick
OK I know Miss Vickie will be mad at me for posting this pic. But it is just to cute not to. Murphy and Stanley really like Miss Vickie and they don't mind showing it. And by the looks of it Miss Vickie likes them too.
This is my good friend Logan. And his look sums up how I feel...THANKFUL.
Thankful Belle got to spend almost two weeks with me at my house and we got to have some amazing times. Thankful I belong to a church that loves dogs and welcomes us. Thankful I have a great group of friends that I get to spend time with (a lot of time). And I am thankful for a MOM who does all and everything possible for me and loves me beyond any kind of measure. I'm just a thankful dog, that's all there is to it. And I am thankful in advance that you will understand that I will be taking a little break from posting (I believe I might be able to still read yours). But I need to help my MOM and give her some extra love and time for a while. I know what you are saying, "Goose, is it possible for you to give even MORE love?" My friends extra and more love is always possible.
Blessings,
Goose

Hi Goose,
ReplyDeletePlease don't laugh at me cos I need to ask a silly question.
How do you tell Bert and Belle apart? They look like twins to me.
And I finally get to see the face of Bert's Vickie :) Thank you so much!
Can I add you to my list of Super-Celebrity Dog blog? Please consider carefully because a 'yes' means I will be checking and commenting on your blog all the time. No pressure! No pressure! :P
Of course you can add me. I would be honored.
DeleteOh I forgot to say- It's easy to tell Belle and Bert apart. Bert has a BIG old snooter. Sorry buddy but it is true.
DeleteHi Goose , I wanna come vole catching with you! Love the picture of Logan. Have a great Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
There's just so much to be thankful for, Goose. Have a good break and shower your mom in love.
ReplyDeleteYes, much to be thankful for, well said Goose. Give your mom lots of extra love. If there is anything a dog can teach us peeps, it's that there is always more love to give.
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Murphy & Stanley
Oh My Goodness, Goose! What an absolutely pleasure it is to meet you. What a great blog... we are seriously jealous of you going to a church that loves and allows dogs to be a part! Mom's church isn't so welcoming to us 4 legged humans, but perhaps one day they will understand the things we have to help them and teach them... We excel at "Encouraging One Another" and being "Longsuffering" (We are long so we do that Long Longsuffering")
ReplyDeleteOur mom has followed you via Google Friend Connect and added you along to her Google Reader. We cannot wait to see all the great stuff you are doing... cause, wow, you do a lot!!
And yep, we started our garden back in March, our weather has been sorta mild, being right on the cusp of North and South USA... So we plan to be nibbling on some goodies very soon. Lettuces, herbs, beets, and spinach have been in ABUNDANCE this year... so much we've given lots to the Moveable Feast program (http://www.feastlex.org/) to help out there.
Much love,
Shelle, Milo and Dixie
Woof to you Goose!!!! You were wise to keep a close eye and grip on Sneaky Snake (how sweet of him to apologize to Belle). And it appears as though you've come a long way in terms of learning to love playing in the water.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the picture of Miss Vickie with Bert & Murphy - you can really feel the love. And while I will miss your posts very much, I understand that sometimes we all need to take a break. I hope all is OK with you and your MOM. Much love to you - XXOO - Mazzie
Hi Goose, we're thankful we met you and you share your little part of the world with us. We LOVE the photo of Bert's Vickie too. Its fabulous. Have a good break. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time! I am so happy you took the risk of Miss Vickie getting upset, because that picture is TOO cute!
ReplyDeleteHey Goose, I loved seeing the photos of you and Belle. You are such a wonderful companion and I'm thankful for you! Tell your mom that I will uphold her in prayer for this break-she can email me with specifics if she wants. Have a good evening and thanks for sharing your life with us.

ReplyDeleteLove and licks, Winnie
Ha roo, Goose! That's a lot of great stuff to be thankful for! I'm thankful that you and your mom found each other!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry we've been AWOL for a while - that gardening stuff is just taking WAY too much of Mom's time away from our blogging efforts. (And yet she still wants me to ask you what the purple flowers are in front of your church. Seriously, Mom?)
Good job keeping an eye on Sneaky Snake. They ARE mighty sneaky, you know!
Play bows,
Zim
I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
