I'm Forgiven

This morning started out great.  MOM made me an egg just the way I like it.  Then I took a short nap.  Then MOM wrestled with me.  I love when she does that.  She's pretty tough and can pick me up and throw me on the couch.  We wrestled on the couch, the bed, the floor.  It was tons of fun.  Then I was going for the double nelson reverse super hold and I whapped MOM right in the jaw.  Oooops.  As a result MOM has a cut across her lip and I knocked her bottom back tooth lose.  I thought I was going to be in trouble.  But she just looked up at me as she lay on the floor and said, "I weaved when I should have bobbed."  Then I licked her and licked her and lay across her chest, till she felt better.

Now because I smacked MOM I thought we would not go Hiking around the "Fort".  But we went and even though my buddy Bert is not cleared yet to come with me, MOM's friend Jenni came along with us.  So here are a few photos.
This is our friend Jenni.  I love it when she calls me Gooseberry.  Makes me smile.

It was a picture perfect day.

Me standing on my favorite stick

Me romping in the woods

I even played in the water for a bit

run run runrunnin'

I'm glad MOM is so easy to forgive me.  Even though I hurt her I was sorry and felt terrible.  I guess that is what it's like with God.  No matter if we hurt God, God is always ready to forgive and have mercy and take us back into his loving arms AND take us on an adventure.
Blessings,
Goose

  4. Hey Goose, that looks like so much fun you had. My Vickie let the dog walker take me for an easy walk. It was my first one since the surgery and I can't beleive how tired it made me.

I am pretty sure she won't let me swim for a few more weeks but I think I get to go for a walk with you on Friday and Saturday, but she says I have to stay on a leash.

Frankly, I am getting a little tired of looking at pictures of you running and playing. (and I mean that in a loving way)

I like your Jenni, she looks like fun and I am sorry about the lip smacking thing but I think your human is pretty good at forgiving so you got nothin to worry about.

    See ya later

  7. Ouch! I've found that moms are about the most forgiving people of all. I heard that Dad forgave Blueberry for giving him two black eyes in one week when she was young, too. I guess you have to know who really loves you! ;)

  20. Goose, I knew your mom would not be mad at you but next time you better remind her to put in a mouth guard (and helmet). I would like to see a video of this wrestling! I liked your pictures. My mom and dad long for the day that they can take me and my brother for walks and splashes.

  21. How could anyone be mad at you, Goose? Mom's know that when they wrestle with us pups that accidents can happen!
We love the pix from your adventure. And that HAS to be the biggest stick in the WORLD that you're standing on!!!
    Luv,
    Dave

  31. Gooseberry, that's funny! It makes me smile! You gotta be careful with those moves. Sometimes Buddy comes as us with such excitement we're laying on the floor before we even know what happened. I think that's how God feel sometimes too. When we run to him with all the excitement and love we have he rejoices with us, but with happiness so wonderful we can't even imagine. How beautiful!

    Happy seeing BEAU-T-FULL, Gooseberry!
