Goose vs. Snake

As you may know yesterday it snowed.  So after MOM got a paper written she then took me out for a hike in the fresh snow.  It was a great hike.  Just one problem, MOM left the camera in the Blazer.  But still we had a great time.  When we got home MOM started working again and I took a nap.  When I woke up MOM was still working and she kept doing that for a few more hours.
I decided she needed a break so I went over and put my head and my paw on her books and laptop.  If I wasn't there the woman would never take a break.  So she got down on the floor with me and started to rub my neck with her feet.  I LOVE feet!!!  Yea I said it.  I'm dog enough to admit that I really love feet.  Well while I was having a foot rub the sneaky green snake attacked my MOM.

I sprung into action to take down the green slimy one.

It then tried to take me down.  It is more crafty than I thought.  It tried to flip me over.

Then I finally got it in the "Goose Grip of Death".  Grrrrrr Take that Green snake.

That snake will think twice about attacking my MOM.  Not to mention interrupting my neck rub with  MOM's feet.  Yep I licked that snake, I licked him good.  Goose 1 Snake 0.
Blessings,
Goose

  11. So glad you were there to save your Mom. There's no telling what that snake would have done! No snake can be trusted. Sometimes a stuffed snake can be a disguise for a real one so I'm glad you didn't take any chances. You don't have any dinosaurs at your house do you? They can't be trusted either.
