Mail, Snow, a Song and Mayor Madi

Hello Friends.

Well it is a BIG day for MADI.  This is the day she becomes our new mayor of Blogvile.  I am so excited for her and honored that I am a part of her cabinet.  So before I head over for the ceremony and party let me share a few things with you.

Since Thursday it has been snowing.  MOM has done a whole lot of shoveling the stuff.  I normally help out but by the 4th or 5th time I decided I better keep Sneaky warm.  He is a snake after all and does not handle the cold very well.

When MOM came back in one time she said I got something in the mail.

Check it out is a very cool card from Bart and Ruby.

They wanted to wish me a happy New Year.  Is that a very cool card or what.  I love it!

What to see and hear what MOM and I wake up to every morning? Check out the video.  Make sure you have your sound on.

Isn't that just beautiful.  There is about 50 little birdies in there and every morning even before the sun comes up they start singing.  It's a great way to start the day.

I've been doing a lot of this the last few days.

Keeping an eye on my kingdom while the snow falls.

It can be very exhausting work watching snow fall.

Look at all that snow weighing down the branches of my pine tree.  It's so deep outside that the snow comes up to my belly!

Well friends I need to head over to MADI''S for the swearing in, party and dinner.  I still have to load up my wheelbarrow for me and PUDDLES.  We are "unofficially" in charge of making sure everyone has a good time and stays hydrated.  That is why the wheelbarrow of the necessary supplies, beer and Cheetos.  After we empty the wheelbarrow I will be offering rides in it.  Of course you will need to sign a waver releasing me from any legal action if the wheelbarrow should end up in a pool or on the buffet table.  Make sure you head over to wish MADI well.  See ya all there.
Blessings,
Goose

  2. Woof! Woof! Interesting cause we wake up the same way. Actually, we always listen to them when the sun goes down and yes in the morning too. KulaManu is the Hawaiian word for flocking of the birds. Many find it noisy but for us it is simply beautiful noise.
We are so happy for MADI to the major of blogville. Happy Weekend. Golden LOVE. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  10. We agree, you did a fabulous job of officiating for Madi's swearing in ceremony. We are thinking of taking a ride in the wheelbarrow. If you should dump us on the buffet table that would be just fine with us. The pool? Now that could get exciting.

  14. What a great job you're doing Goose on the snoopervision of the falling snow. It looks so beautiful ourside but I agree, too much of a good thing is no good. Especially if it is up to your belly already.

We're heading over to the pawty now. We can't wait to get a ride in your wheelbarrow. We're more than happy too to offer you rides in our golf cart. It's a 4 seater so we have plenty of room for some of your friends too.

Luv the birdies in the bush :D

There's a Spanish Huntin Dog sayin. I think it goes like this...

Un pajaro en la boca es mas vale con dos pajaros en la buscas.

Translated - a bird in the mouth is more valuable than two birds in the bush. Guess for your Mom's sake, it's a good thing we prefer voles and squirrels eh ;)

Have a marvelous day my furiends,
