As promised I have more pictures of my romp in the snow. What I didn't mention is that I had a couple of friends join me. My buddy Bert (of course) and Miss Sophie. You won't believe how fast she is growing up.
See what I mean. She is getting so big.
And oh boy does she love Bert!
She does not hug me like she hugs Bert. But she loves to follow Uncle Goose through the woods.
Oh we ran, and romped, and played in our special Fort. We had the whole place to our selves and we made the most of it.
Of course no romp at the Fort in winter would be complete without the group photo of us in a tree. That's right, we are in a big old tree.
On Tuesday night MOM played laser light with me outside. At one point she looked up and thought she saw a pigeon sitting on a wire that runs into our house. But she was wrong. Take a look.
It was an Owl! What a Hoot. hehhehe
How cool is that? I think it is a young one cuz it is not as big of an owl as we have seen before. It just sat up there watching me play with my laser light in the snow. Wonder what the owl thought of that.
Blessings,
Goose
Wow! We has heard the owls in our backyard and we sees their shadow but we has not seen them that clear!
ReplyDeleteAnd boy oh boy does your romps look like fun!
Kisses
Nellie
You always have so much fun with your friends at the fort. Miss Sophie sure is growing fast. You and your mom are real lucky to see an owl although he probably wanted you to go in the house so he could get hunting.

ReplyDeleteI bet that sweet owl wanted to join in the fun. Just think s/he had probably been snoozing all day and had so much energy. I wonder if the owl had its own game after you all went inside for the evening. I bet you're the talk of the Owl Town! Have you read the book Owl Moon by Jane Yolan? It's a children's picture book, but it's one of the most beautiful picture books out there.
