The Bone

Hello Friends.

My MOM bought two bones for me and Belle.  She thought it was cool that these two bones came in the same package but each was a little different.  

MOM put them on the floor and I let Belle choose which one she wanted.

She choose the orange like one.  I think it must have been a cheese like flavor, I think.

So I got this one.  It is more of a chicken broth flavor.

I Know what you are thinking, "Goose you sure are eyeing the bone Belle has."  Well you would be right.  I think I would like that one more.

For a moment Belle let me try hers and she took mine.  I was right I did like her's better.  She thought mine was OK, but the orange like one was the best.  We traded back and forth for a while.  Not in a mean way, we just share it.  Then my MOM took it away from us and went outside, without us.  We were very puzzled over this.  Did my MOM want it for herself?  When she came back it she put the bone on the floor.

That MOM of mine went in the garage and got out the jig saw and cut the bone in two so we could both enjoy the bone we liked best.

I'm trying to show off.  "See Belle I can fit the whole thing in my mouth."  You can tell she is impressed.

Sharing is the best.  And when we are done we will still have another bone for another day.  Win win.

I call this synchronized chewing.  Maybe that could be an Olympic event next time.

After the bones it was time for a sun puddle nap. Belle took the spot on the floor.

I got the puddle on the couch.  You are looking at one satisfied dog.
