Good Times

Hello Friends.

I'm still up in the mountains but I asked MOM to do a post before we left and hopefully she did it right and you are seeing this.  She has never done a post and post dated it.  But I have confidence in her.

This past Wednesday I met up with some of my friends at the Fort for some good times.  Let's see what we did shall we.

Bert chasin' down Logan.  Logan beat him to the ball.  Hard to believe, I know.

Lovely Annie was there.  She just came from the spa.

Rompin' and playin'

That's Miss Sophie talkin' with Annie.  You may know who Sophie is.  She is Paulette's new puppy.  Murphy was Paulette's dog.   Sophie is well on her way to being a great therapy dog just like her brother Murphy.

Miss Sophie takin' it all in.

Of course my gal pal Belle was there.

Miss Sophie just loves Bert.

You may wonder why I am not in these photos.  I am sticking like glue to my MOM's side.  A couple of months ago when we were all at the Fort with a lot of other dogs, a dog bit me on the eye.  It was not real serious, but ever since that day I do not like to be in the ball field at the Fort.  When we get out of the Blazer I do not want to go in the field and I shake a little.  But as soon as we all start to walk along the river and through the woods I am just fine and lead the way.

Bert brought me back a real nice stick from the pond.

Here fishy fishy!!

Sweet Belle even brought me a stick.

I found a great stick.  I think this one weighed about 40lbs.

I love chasin' Belle through the woods.  She always lets me catch her, eventually.

Baci and Logan love chain' each other too.

Belle is on the hunt for a squirrel.

I blend in so well.  Sometimes MOM say, "Where is Goose?"  And I am right in front of her.

I am so happy I think I could fly!

Hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll be telling you about me and MOM's and Belle's adventure on Thanksgiving and Friday.

  1. Looks like you're having a wonderful time there, Goose. We hope you still are. See you when you and Mom get back. XOXO

  2. Sorry to hear you don't like playing in the field with the rest of the doggies, but at least you have fun on the hike. Millie keeps trying to pick up the "sticks" at the base of our trees, but can't seem to get them to budge (probably because they are roots!). Hope your camping trip was fun. We can't wait to hear all about it.

  3. boy, you guys must be all settled in your tent by now. It is cold here so you must be in a colder place cause your up in the mountains.
Can't wait until you get back and tell us all about your cool Thanksgiving with Nature.

I look forward to hearing about your Thanksgiving adventures. I'm glad you have your mom to protect you too. Sometimes it is scary after something bad happens.

  15. You have the best time with your that last photo of you goose

  16. How much fun. I don't blame you for not wanting to go out and play since that accident. I won't want to either. Hope you are having fun in the mountains!

  17. I wish we were there with you Goose. Even tho we're small, we would protect you. We can nip ankles really well!

What fun you all have there at the Fort. Wish we had a place like that around us. No swimming in the ponds here in FL. They have BIG alligators. We have to stick to the kiddie pool instead. Can't do laps in there.

Sorry to hear about you getting bit like that. I don't think I'd be keen about going into the mix there, either.
    Play bows,

  20. That is quite the Pre-Thanksgiving adventure with beautiful friends! Oh, and Goose, it looks like you're just one paw away from really just taking off and flying! Happy seeing (and flying) beautful!

    Critter Alley

  25. We understand about the reluctance to get into the fray at a dog-park. But we hope you are having just as much fun in the mountains with your Mom!!

  26. I'm so glad that you had fun, and I envy you getting to go out and have fun in the mountains with your mom and Belle! I can't wait to hear all about it.
