Hello Friends.
I am about to show you the proper way to take on a stick. Now if you are new to sticks or if you are unsure of your stick chewing capabilities, I would suggest starting with a slightly smaller stick and maybe try it on dry land first. However you do it I hope you find this informative video helpful.
I hope you found this helpful. Remember to start at one end and work your way to the other. Do not swallow the shavings. Keep a firm stand on the ground. Keep focused. And above all else, HAVE FUN.
I think I might, maybe, take a couple days off to finish off my stick. But if I get done sooner I'll be back before you know it.
Blessings,
Goose
Dude, you forgot to mention how, if you work hard enough at it, you can move a big stick like that. I mean, I remember that stick and My Vickie and I saw you move that whole thing. Just little ole you and your mouth and you moved that big ole stick about a foot......
ReplyDeleteI swear, I thought you were gonna drag it out fo the water and bring it home.

OMD!! Goose, are you part beaver???? Look at ya go! Wows.
ReplyDeleteYeah, my problems is that I DO swallow the wood bits. That's why Ma says I can't have sticks unless she's watchin'. BORING!!
You keep workin' on your trunk...I mean, stick! You the MAN!!

Ruby

Goose, wow I am amazed, you really set your sights high. Do you think that I should start with something a little smaller, say a twig?? No little old stick is gonna get in the way of the "Goose". You are the stick master my pal.

A big dog needs a BIG stick and I think you've found the grandest of sticks. GO GOOSE!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Goose, Wow that is one big stick; great job you are doing on it. I gave Hunter your message but he looked at me funny about not eating it-I do think he eats small pieces. I am wondering how cold that water is; hopefully mom had a nice warm towel to dry you off with.
ReplyDeleteHave a day filled with fun.

ReplyDeleteHey Goose!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm totally impressed! I love a big stick too, well, branches are actually more my style. But, I've never worked over a full sized log before! Great form and technique. I'll have to give that a whirl.
