Here are some of MOM's kids. They are playing some crazy devotional games.
Sunset on the first day.
Sunrise on the second day. It's a shame that the kids did not get up until 2 and 1/2 hours later. Maybe the next day.
Hot air balloons floating by.
And would you look at this! A lady and her dog. MOM said she thinks she would like to do this. She said it seemed so relaxing. I asked who she would be doing it with. Cuz I am not so sure I would like being on a floating little thing is the middle of the lake. Then it hit me, I thought dog were not allowed at this place. What's up with that? MOM said that she found out that dogs are allowed just not in the two cabins she rented, but every other place. She did not know until it was to late.
This is where MOM slept without me. She thinks it's a funny photo because the kids all got to sleep in beds. This is what was left for her.
Where MOM walked without me every morning. She thought I would really like this stick.
More of MOM's walk without me and more STICKS.
Last sunrise on the last day. Did the kids see this? Nope, they were still sleeping. I guess when you stay up until 2 or 3 in the morning it's hard to get up to see the sunrise. If you are wondering, yes my MOM stays up until the last of the kids fall asleep.
When MOM got home I made sure she did not go anywhere!
Then she rubbed my neck with her feet. I LOVE LOVE that.
Then we said our prayers together.
The she whispered in my ear that she had something VERY special for me at the end of the month and I was going to LOVE it!
Whatever it is, as long as she is with me, it will be very special.
I am glad MOM is back. But I know that these trips with her kids are very important. They make memories that last a lifetime, they learn more about themselves and they strengthen their relationship with God. And that is a wonderful thing and I can be without her for a few days for that.
OH! And guess what? My MOM was interviewed by Coffee with a Canine. You can click on that link and read it if you want. Plus there are more pictures with me, just a little added bonus.
Blessings,

Reunited and it feels so GOOD!! Glad you and MOM are back together. I enjoyed seeing the camp photos as it reminded me of great times at church camp as a youngster. I hopped over to Coffee with a Canine, what a interesting story about how your MOM got you. I had no idea you were royalty!! Hope you get to go hiking with all your friends today and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteDo you think Mom sleeping on the floor was a payback for her renting the wrong cabins so you didn't get to go? Probably not, but just putting a thought in yur head! I am so glad your mom is home, I have been stewing about it all week...OMGosh my mom popped over to the Coffee blog and she started crying (at work!!) good thing she is the only one in the office this morning...what a lovely story I am so glad we know how you got your mom! How great that your Momma is home from doing so many fun things "without you"! Just think, now you have her all to yourself again. You two must have really missed each other, but it's a great thing your Momma does with those kids. A small sacrifice on your part Goose. I loved your interview on Coffee With a Caninine.
