First things first. This is for K and KB, and really her whole pack. There are no words to tell you how much we value your friendship. You two really are a Pillar of Strength. KB the images you capture in your photos are breath taking and inspiring. They never fail to make us smile, and see pause to reflect. Your insights just add to their beauty. On February 14th 2000 I was born. The first 6 months of my life were not exactly ideal. But then at 6 months old she walked into my life and gave me a forever home. I can't believe all these years have passed so quickly. I've been on more walks than I can count, many, many hikes, camping and backpacking adventures that have been incredible. But it's the love that is the best part of this relationship I have with my MOM. She cares for me, loves me, worries about me, includes me in most everything imaginable. I would not want to know life without her.
For my birthday she got me all kinds of fun and tasty things. But I don't need stuff to be happy on my birthday, all I need is my MOM and plenty of hugs. The video MOM helped me put together is of my birthday fun along with a few other photos of our hike last week and some others of times during the year. I hope ya all enjoy it. I'm going to go now and eat my birthday dinner of turkey balls with cranberries and my heart shaped pumpkin pie. She does spoil me. So now I will turn it over to my MOM.
Gooses MOM here. I just want to say how incredibly blessed I am to have this sweet boy in my life. As the music in the video says, Everything changes when you love somebody." And that is true for me with Goose. He indeed was a ray of light that shined through the clouds in my heart. It was right, right from the start and I have never been the same. He has helped me see beauty where I otherwise would not have. He is a true reflection of love in its purest form. Without Goose I would never have met many of you and we would never have found the beautiful friendship with Bert and his Vickie. I best go now. Goose is barking something about wanting beer and Cheetos. Happy Birthday Goosey, I love you.
