New Friend

I would like you to meet my new friend.

This is Buddy

At Pastor MOM's church all the children have an adult prayer partner.  For four years now MOM has had this wonderfully beautiful little girl, Miss A, as her prayer partner.  Prayer partners of course pray for each other and they send just thinking about you cards and sometimes little gifts and stuff like that.  Miss A has a really cool Gecko Lizard and her little brother Mr. A, has a cool frog.  But both kids really wanted a dog.  Well finally Miss A and her little brother got a dog, Buddy.  They searched several shelters and then, there he was!
Last night Miss A came with her mom to a meeting at the church and they brought Buddy.

This is Buddy at the meeting enjoying one of my toy skunks.  I'm so glad I have lots of toys in MOM's office to share.


And the one to melt your heart, Miss A with her new best friend Buddy.

I can't wait to show Buddy all the in's and out's, the secret fun places at the church.  And I am soooo happy that MOM's prayer partner finally got her pup.  Just one more example of the power of prayer.  Welcome Buddy to your new and happy forever home.  I know we are going to be great friends.

    Well, isn't Buddy adorable! How happy Miss A and her brother must be! Thank goodness Buddy will have you to share your toys and show him the ins and outs of things!

    OMD, isn't Buddy just the cutest little guy! WE bet he grows up to be one handsome dude. Very nice idea you have at your church - a great way to start the kids young at prayer.

    Welcome Buddy! What an adorable little guy. And even better, these young people have adopted a dog in need of a home rather than getting one from a breeder or pet shop! I love that!!

    Theres ain't nuttin betters than a kid and a dog...they just go togethers. I am so thankful they gots 'em a new best furiend.
    Oh and dis prayer thing they do with da kids is purty darn cool.

    Hi Goose, Loved reading this; such a heartwarming story. What touched me the most is that this puppy looks just like a terrier pup I had in high school, that I loved to the moon and back. I always said if I found another little terrier like him, I'd get him. He looked just like Benji-ask your mom and she'll fill you in.
    How special to see God's answers to prayers.
