A First

Hey All.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!  I came home yesterday and walked momma to the back yard, but before we got there momma stopped all of the sudden at the garage door.  Then she called me over.  She pointed to a package.  I had know idea what she wanted me to do, she pointed again.  Then I walked over and took a sniff.  Oooooooooo.  What is this I thought.  I carried it into the house right away.

I peered in real slow like.  I was not sure what to do with a package.

But then I just stuck my whole head in and guess what I pulled out?

All this COOL stuff.  And you know who it was from??????  EASY RIDER!!! 

Easy my momma has told me all about you and how you and my brother Goose and you were the best of brothers.  So I guess that makes us brothers too. 

How sweet is this?  My momma just smiled real big when I opened it.  It now sits on a special spot next to a picture of Goose, me, my friend Buddy from Atlanta and his Angle sister Lilly and a photo of Easy.

Easy said he sent me the penguin to help me learn to swim because they are good swimmers.  As you can see I am listening to Mr. Penguin very closely because Bert keeps telling me that water is way fun.

Here I am practicing the back stroke.

Mr. Penguin said that I need to keep my head above water when I swim.  I am confused by this as I keep seeing Bert with his head under water and his butt sticking out.  Not sure who I should believe, a penguin who spends a lot of it's life in water, or Bert also know as the Golden otter.

All that practice swimming made me real tired and I thought it best to sleep on the important dilemma of "keep head above water" or "keep butt above water."  And what better way to sleep on such deep questions than in your VERY OWN doggie sleeping bag that the totally awesome Easy Rider sent me.  That's right my very own sleeping bag.  Easy said I can use it when me and my momma go camping and backpacking.  Momma said it might be a little while before we can do that (maybe sometime in late October or early November).  But that's OK, momma let me pretend on the living room floor.

Thank you brother Easy.  I love it all.  And I am just overwhelmed at your thoughtfulness.
