She Calls it Mischief

Hello Friends.

As you may know we got more snow, as many of you did.  MOM and I took off for and adventure.  We arrived at our destination just as the snow started to really come down hard.  But that's all apart of the adventure right?

See I am wearing that very cool coat EASY gave me.

There are some very interesting sniffs in here.

Oh wait what is over there?

I better go check it out.

Oh My Goodness!  Would you look at that!

No, not the ducks swimming around.  Look over to the left.

No, really Duckies I am not here for you.  You don't have to fly away.  I have my eye on something else.

I may have gotten here just in time.

A helpless stick is caught in the cold river.

I've got ya stick (MOM says it's a log not a stick).  Regardless, log, stick it was still freezing in the rushing river and I needed to do something.

MOM was all like, "Goose get out of the water.  Your going to get your coat all wet.  Goose get over here.  Leave the log alone.  Don't make me go in there and get you. (yea like that would happen.)  Goose get over here now."
Sheesh MOM it's not mischief, it's adventure.
Special Note:  I have had to change my comment settings.  Seems that the anonymous comments are very annoying to my MOM and me.  So in order to leave a comment you can not be anonymous.  Grrrr to weird anonymous commetns.

  1. Oh man Goose, your Mom should have thanked you...not scolded you, after all you were doing your civic duty and saving that drowning stick! Who knows how long it would have lasted without you! ;-) Wowwee...check out all that snow! I'm glad that you are having a blast playing in it!! :-D

  2. Goose brother, I have to tell you I was pretty impressed with you yesterday when you went right out into the farther end of the other shore. I mean, it was so cold and there you are with your short hair and your long legs. But then you also had that really cool coat that Easy sent you.
Anyway, it was a great day.....

  3. Goose! Yous rushed into the river to save that drowning stick without even worrying about the water! Me is impressed!
Did yous gets thay gorgeous coat all waterlogged?

  4. Goose I think you have been spending too much time with Bert. You're as obsessed with going in the water as him.

  5. Selflessness, Goose. That's what you demonstrated. I know the stick was grateful.

  6. Poor log. You were just trying to rescue it. Your fresh snow is beautiful. Enjoy your Monday. XOXO

  7. Goose, I agree it is adventure and that is part of what makes you the best Goose EVER! I bet it was cold though and my Mom would have been just like your Mom. We know whats fun right??

    Loveys Sasha

  12. all the time i was looking at the photos in slide show, i was thinking Goose, that warm coat may be a cool coat, but it is not a wade in water coat... and then i got to the bottom and found you mom was saying all the things i was thinking. that wide shot is way cool

  13. OMD....Goose that water looks COLD! How can you even step paw in it???

  14. i still sit on the sofa with computer in lap, but i put pillow behind me and sit with feet on the floor, straight up. that is what helped my back the most. i was spending hours in slumped position on the sofa, TV, reading and computer. i know longer spend the hours and when i do i sit up straight, it feels so good to be free of pain, i have no trouble doing it.

  15. that's the remake of "Baywatch" are a hero Goose : you rescued this poor stick from drowning ;o) ...but this water looks cold to me...otherwise, you wore a coat .. so I think, it's ok ;o)

  16. Okay, even I think that snow and water would be too cold....

  17. Ohy word Goose, you are lucky you didn't get frozen in the river. Thank goodness you saved the stick

  23. I am glad to see you had your coat on - Mom always worries when she see's you without a coat - she forgets us doggies are made of invincible material :) Best to stick to stick saving - logs are a bit more trouble then they are worth

  24. BOL I cant believe that you got in the cold water Goose!! brrrrrr I hope you saved the stick BOL and Bad anonymous commentors!!

  25. BOL! I thought Mabel Lou was the only one who rescued TREES floating in rivers...Hmmm... Maybe not!

  26. But ... but ... the DUCKS!!! I wanted to see more of the ducks!

Looks like you're having great fun in the snow, Goose!

  27. What are ducks when there is a stick to save, eh Goose? The pictures with the snow are beautiful. I was a bit worried about your beautiful coat getting wet. If you are going to swim in clothes you need a nifty camo neoprene hunting vest. :)

  28. Oh Goose, that water looks WAY cold!! I hope you didn't get your coat too wet, kinda defeats the purpose, ya know?! BOL Butts, who COULD resist a stickie in such dire need????

  29. Goose, you are going to freeze!

We had to change our settings too. I don't understand why people like to leave spam or that is what I call it. I don't get the point of it.

  30. Yep, just the "Blogville Stick King" doing his job!

  35. Hi Goose, boy did that water look cold-brrrr. That coat looks really warm, so glad your mom didn't have to get in after you! Have a warm evening.

Glad you cut off Anonymous instead of using the evil word verification. We had to cut Anon off a long time ago, even though we had non-blogging friends who occasionally left a comment. Now they just email us.

  40. Oh, thank goodness you were there to save that stick!!! I just don't even want to think about what might have happened if you hadn't jumped in there! Good on you, Goose!!!
    Play bows,

  41. You are so brave, Goose! So so brave! I would not have gotten in that freezing cold water in about a billion years, even to save a poor freezing log...
