Play Time

Hello Friends.

When MOM got home Sunday night from church she had some work to do.  But first she started to pick up a few of my toys I had left on the living room floor.  I am usually pretty good about putting my toys away, but I figure that I was just going to play with them again so I left them on the floor.  As she was picking them up I said, "Hey we should play some foot-ball."  MOM said maybe later.  But then I reminded her about our 30/30 Challenge that we are doing at the church.  It's a challenge that for 30 days we will intentionally do 30 minutes each day of some kind of exercise.  Doesn't matter what it is, as long as it is intentional. Murphy and Stanley's peeps started this at our church.  So as MOM stood there holding my Easy ball I just kept barking at her.  I can be very convincing.

So for 30 minutes we played foot-ball.  I won by the way.  Oh, and I was not holding, so no penalty was given.  MOM was very thankful that we did our 30/30 for the day.  She said it re-energized  her.  When we finished I looked at her and said, "How about a walk?"  "Goosie" she said "I have to get a few things done."   But once again I reminded her of the 30/30 Challenge.  To which she said, "We just did that."  "True" I said.  "But it is now after midnight, it's a new day and that means another 30 minute challenge."  I ask you, how could she argue with logic like that?  hahhaha.  Well she couldn't and she grabbed my leash and we went on a nice, all be it cold, 40 minute walk.
Blessings,
Goose

  1. Goose, you have an PHENOMENAL Mommy! There is no way our Mommy would have taken us out after midnight! (especially for 40 whole minutes) We think she should be up for the Mommy of the Year award.
