Know What Today Is?

Hello Friends.

Do you know what today is?  Sunday March 24th.  Here I'll give you a hint.

Do you know now?
OK one more hint.

It's Palm Sunday!
The day we celebrate when Jesus rode into town on a young colt.  That's right friends I am not the only four legger that is allowed inside the church.
That's my MOM in that photo (she is the one on your left). hehhe

Easter is on it's way.
But first we must journey through Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.  But the resurrection awaits us on the other side.
Blessings,
Goose

PS- You might already guess but... We might be spotty in posting and commenting this week.  With 5 worship services this week and all the stuff at the Homeless Shelter MOM will be gone a lot.  But don't worry about me, I am sure I will be spending time with my buddy Bert and his Vickie.  Of course MOM will take me everywhere possible that she goes that I can tag along.  But still I think this will be a VERY long week for me with my MOM working so much.  But what JOY there will be come next Sunday! :)

  2. Wow, your Mom allows donkeys to come inside the church?! That must be a messy clean-up after service...hehehe! ;-) What a fun looking day, but where are you in the photos dude?! I bet there must have been a goose somewhere on the ride?! Make sure your Mom doesn't work too hard ...or at least give her some awesome downtime!

  13. Now THAT's impressive! I just bet it was a wonderful sermon. Wish we could have been there. Mr. Horsie looks so nice and is walking perfectly. I bet that your Mom had to have a talk with him first to explain that there should be no pooping in Church. We sure hope he was paying attention.

  25. Oh yes, a very busy week for your Mom for sure. Our parents went to Palm Sunday services on Saturday night to avoid the bad roads from our storm. Mom said they did a very nice procession through the church with the priest and all the children. Lots of wonderful songs too. Phantom thinks they should have borrowed the donkeys up the street for the procession.

Happy Palm Sunday - Mom has been busy making palm crosses for the kiddos.

  27. It's our holiest and most special time of the year!!!
Did you take the pictures, since your MOM is in them? I told Zim you probably did, but he wasn't sure.
We just LOVE that your MOM had a reenactment at the church! That is very, very cool. And I'll bet it really brings home the whole history of Palm Sunday and no one will forget.
Don't let your MOM work too hard. Lots of rest and snuggling - OK?
    Luv,
    Dave
