Goose and the Geese

Hello friends.

I would like to dedicate this post to my friend ZIM.  I like to think of Zim as the critter whisperer.  Kit-cats love him, woofers adore him, and the birdies come when he calls.  I really admire him.  I've learned a lot from him.  And recently I had the opportunity to put into practice what I have learned from him.

Ooo what do I see across the way.

It's some Gooses.  "Hello feathered friends."  Zim taught me to speak kindly to the birdies.

Let's see what else did ZIM say about talking to birdies?  Be calm, no barking, call them with your eyes, put forth a friendly paw.

It's working!!  "Hey there Canadian Honkers.  Do you know my friend Zim?"

"Oh yes we know him.  We just flew in from Kansas.  He was hanging out at the Kansas Ocean.  Nice Husk-a-Roo that Zim is."
"I knew it!  It's such a small world.  And I could not agree more, Zim is just the best."

Oh and Dave Davey, Dave Dave DAVE .  Don't think I forgot about you.  Here is a little somethin' somethin' for you pal.

Me and my MOM.
Dave I know you understand this.  Me and the MOM workin' on Sunday's message.  I am giving a read over what she has written thus far.  Not bad, but I think she should talk about the small colt more.

And for both of you.  This is me practicing my mind meld on MOM.  'You will stop working.  You have a need to take a walk.'
Thank Dave and Zim, this mind meld thing really works.

Thanks Dave and Zim for teaching me such great stuff.  I love talking to the birdies and talking to MOM through the mind meld.
Blessings,
Goose

  4. Goose , Zim has turned you into a pawsome bird whisperer. We too love AO4! Maybe I should learn to be nice to birdies but I kind of love chasing too much. I never catch them but I just try.
    Have a super Saturday.

  6. Your furend Zim is one smart fellow. Teaching you all those mind meld tricks and stuff. Look how well you paid attention to what you learned. Impressive Goose!

And we just think the pictures for Dave are beautiful. We're going to go visit your furends right now.

We know this is a very busy time for your Mom with many important days coming up, so please give her a big hug from us and tell her that we all wish we could be there to hear her beautiful sermons.

    Hugs,

  12. Mom 's little pug McKenzie would press her forehead to moms and hold it there. Mom called their mindmeld. She had not done it in quite awhile and then did it the night before she went to the bridge. Mom treasures that last mindmeld, she knew McKenzie was saying a last goodbye.
    Love you Goose

  16. Awww! It was so nice of Zim to teach you how to communicate with feathered friends! Spending time with four-footed and human friends who make you a better dog/person is what it's all about! I know there's a Bible verse about that....iron sharpeneth iron....

  17. Good job being so nice to those Geese! I meet a lot of geese at my favorite lake. I used to try to chase, but then mom taught to just look at them nicely and keep walking. No they do not make scary noises at me anymore :)

Your mind-meld was spot on! Perfect execution and perfect timing, too. I have no doubt that your MOM needed a break. How very good of you to look after her like that!
And … wow. The Dave Dave and our mom LOVE the pix of you and your MOM! Dave said it made him feel all squishy inside and Mom just kept saying "awww!" and stuff like that.
I am so honored by this post - and by your friendship! If you see those gooses again, please tell them "honkkkkk!" for me!
    Play bows,
    Zim
