Stick Harvesting

Hey All.

 

Over the weekend I had so much fun with my pal Bert.  We ran through the woods, we played in the water AND we tried a new thing with sticks.

There we were when I noticed all these sticks just hanging there.  I tried to get one, but most were just out of my reach.

That's when my pal Bert stepped in to help me.

Bert is a bit taller than me and he has a unique technic: he just grabs a stick and sits down.  The Golden boy has his own way of harvesting sticks, but it works.

Like I said I'm a bit shorter than Bert, so he lent me his face to push off of so I could harvest a stick.

Stick harvesting is hard work.

But Bert and I were not going to give up.  Soon we developed a better and greater plan.

Bert would grab the end of the stick and pull it down to me.

Then I would grab it and bite it off.  Team work makes the world a better place, a better place for all.

Soon I was able to stretch far enough to harvest sticks on my own.

Oh yea I think I have found my calling in this world.  Buddy-Stick Harvester.

After we harvest about 87,000 sticks we were off to our next adventure.

And what an adventure it was!!!!  More on this later.
