Smile Saturday

Hey All.

Are you ready for a smile on this Saturday.  Momma says the following made her smile all day long, and she is still smiling.  On Friday I stopped by my pal Bert's place on Friday and there was a new pup at his place.  Her name is Ruby and she is 9 weeks old and she is oh so very cute.  AND she really really liked me.  She would follow me around everywhere outside.  Momma left me at Bert's for a little while and when she came back I was still being shadowed by Ruby.  I decided that now that I a 2 years old I need to take on some responsibility to teach the young ones a thing or two.  First lesson.....

The importance of ball play.

She was really interested in the ball, she is a fast learner.  Hummmm Ball.  Of I have a great lesson for little Ruby.  "Oh Berrrrrt."

"Oh his Bert."

"Bud is that my ball?"

"Yep."

"Ummm Buddy can I have my ball?"

"Oh sure Bert right after I teach little Ruby a thing or two."

"Teach her??  Teach her what?  Can I help?"

"Oh for this lesson I will most defiantly need you."

"Great, then I can have my ball?"

"You can have it right now Bert.  Go ahead and take it.  And maybe you can jump up on the box thing and hold on to it."

"Well sure Bud, I can do that."

"Great!!,  OK Ruby follow me, your lesson begins now."

"Ok Ruby come on up here."

"That's it Ruby!  Now what ya have to do is get right in there and grab the ball from Bert."

"Grab the what ?  From who? 

"Oh don't worry about it Bert,  your doing a great job, don't mind us."

"See little Ruby just put your snooter right in there and grab the ball.  It might take you a little practice.  It took be a month or two before I was able to get the ball from Bert."

"Do you think I am ready to try on my own Master Buddy."

"No time like the present Ruby."

"Bert won't mind if I take it will he?"

"Oh no not at all Ruby, he loves it when he gets his ball taken away."

"I don't mind what???"

"Oh nothing Bert."

"When ya going to start the lesson with Ruby?"

"Soon Bert, soon.  You just keep enjoying that ball of yours.  OK Ruby go for it?  I'll just step aside and it's all yours."

"Go ruby Go!!"

"What the.....?  BUDDY!!!!"

"Hahhahhahha Ruby you are a natural."

"Are you kidding me!!!!  The lesson is about taking my ball??"

"Nothing get's by you Bert.  Get it Ruby, get it!!!!!   bawhahahhhahha."

"Master Buddy this is fun.  You are the bestest teacher ever!"
