She Did It

Hello Friends.

Oh dog, oh dog.  I am almost speechless.  As some of you know my MOM does not decorate for Christmas.  For decades she has not put up as much as a piece of holy.  No tree, or wreath, or mistletoe, nothing, nada, zilch, zip-o, big goose egg.  Not even a goose egg.  Considering what my MOM does for a living many find it strange that she does not decorate for Christmas.  Then a miracle happened last year, not sure if it was all of your encouragement or the grace of God (I suspect it was a bit of both) she made a special Christmas card holder for me AND she put up a little tree.  Oh happy day.  Well friends it has happened AGAIN.  Let the Christmas cheer flow.

OK, yea I had to wear the twinkly light up antlers.  Butt check out the joyful card holder above me. 

 

 

What is that you say?  What is the card count?  I am glad you asked.  Lets see, that would be Goose 17, MOM 0.  She tried to slip in a card she got for Thanksgiving butt I know the difference between a turkey on a card and a turtle dove.  Oh, I should say I have 19 Christmas cards, I received 2 on the interwebs, I just need to print them off and hang them with the rest of my cards.

 

Now come over here and take a look at this.  Here is MY tree.  For my whole life, with the exception of last year, I never had a Christmas tree, ever.  Don't you just love it?  I do.  My MOM even put on those handmade Christmas ornaments that were her Grannymoms, they are way way old and just beautiful.  I love looking at this tree, makes me happy.

 

Take it from me my friends, miracles do happen.  It was not just a fluke that it happened last year, the miracles continues.  In actuality they happen everyday.  Just have to open your eyes and more importantly your heart and you will see them all around you.
