You would think that with all the snow I've had in my area.
And the single digit temps that we have had like forever, that it would have been officially winter. And finally on Thursday we had a VERY rare ice storm followed by a not so rare snow storm. That must have done it for my MOM because...
She finally put on the flannel sheets and winter quilt. Woo Hoo. Now where is Billy Moose? We've got some warm sleepin' to do. Get the lights MOM. Goodnight friends.
Blessings,
Goose

We have had the flannel sheets since November, but it is colder here and our parents don't like to pay extra for heat! Last week we froze our bottoms off with -20F. We are getting lots of snow today and an ice storm on Sunday. Stay warm and safe! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteI would stay in bed, that looks soooooo cold :o) Better you spend the day undercover with Billy Moose, not that he will get icicles on his antlers.
ReplyDeletefrom the looks of that frozen thermometer, you need to be under that beautiful winter quilt not on it.... brrrr and glad mom has declared it officially winter
ReplyDeleteJust now? Our Mom has had the flannel sheets AND the electric blanket on the bed for ages now! Of course, our Mom uses that as an excuse to rarely turn the heat on, so she freezes when she gets out of bed, but if she just stayed in bed with us, she'd be fine! Stay warm!
