Are you ready for a thriller? Grab a cool drink and some popcorn or Cheetos, because I have a tail to tell. This is a true story that has suspense, action (hence some of the blurry shots). A real fur raising experience.
Last evening I was outside doing my nightly patrol of the yard, have to make sure the homestead is safe for the night.
Billy and Jeremiah were inside telling stories.
OH NO! While I was outside making sure all was safe for my MOM and friends a mean dragon must have sneaked into the house.
Big Mean Dragon cast his shadow over Billy while Jeremiah was frozen in fear.
{Shaking} "Mr. Big Mean Dragon please don't hurt me. I have a big, brave, and fearless friend named Goose and he loves me. You better get out of here before he comes inside."
Grrrrrrrrrr What is a Goose to a mean Dragon like me. I eat Goose for a snack. And now I have a craving for Moose with a platypus for desert. Grrrrrr.
"GOOOOOOOOOOSE!!!!"
Jeremiah fainted straight away. Obviously he DOES NOT take after his name sake.
I heard Billy's cry for help all the way in the far corner of my yard and rushed right in.
"Drop the moose Big Mean Dragon and no one has to get hurt."
"You and what army is going to make me Dog."
"Drop my friend Dragon."
"Billy, Billy you OK pal?"
"Goose is that you?"
"It's me my friend. Your going to be OK. I mean you smell like dragon breath but other than that I think you will be just fine."
"Grrrrrr Oh how sweet. Why don't you kiss him Dog. hahahaha I'll just take the platypus and be on my way."
"Take that Big Mean Dragon!"
"Grrrr Oh it's on donkey dog."
**POW**
**BAM**
"Take that Big Mean Dragon!"
"Owe Owe let go of my lip Dragon!! I mean it, this is your last chance to leave."
"Grrrrrrr Ha ha. You are no match for me dog."
"I gave you your chance, now your going down."
"Hold him down Billy while I check to see if he is breathing."
"Is he, is he, breathing Goose?"
"No. But peeeeee youuuuuuu, his breath could have killed me if he had breathed on me. You're safe now Billy."
"All because of you Goose."
No one messes with the ones I love, no one and no dragon. I guess I can add "Dragon Slayer" to my resume.
Blessings,
Goose

ReplyDeleteAw, this was a really nice post. In idea I would like to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to get something done.
