Mail, Mail and More Mail

Hello Friends.

Back in May Rilley and Denny's mom at Cowspotdog put St. Anne's Homeless Shelter (that's the place that me and MOM are so involved in) to receive cards from "Cards for a Cause".  Their aim, as I understand it, is to help organizations by providing them with handmade cards to use in the organization.  For the whole month of May all kinds of packages came in from ALL OVER the place.  Check it out.

Just look at all these packages!  Some of my stuffie friends could get lost in there.

These are some of the most beautiful handmade cards you have ever seen.  Want to guess how many cards there are?
I'll wait......

Oh some of you were close.  There are (drum roll please) 401!
401 handmade with love cards that my MOM has used and will continue to use at St. Anne's Homeless Shelter.  She sends them out to thank people for their generous donations to the shelter and to people who are having a birthday and oh so much more.
They are so beautiful and the care and love behind each and every card is even more beautiful.  Thank You Thank You Cowspotdog mom!  Because of your thoughtfulness many people are not only getting a wonderful card but we just know they are smilin' ear to ear.
Blessings,
Goose

  13. What a great idea. I'm sure people are touched to get such nice thank you cards. I usually get a form letter saying "thanks, now send more"... just saying. It would feel a lot more sincere coming in a handmade card. So that is a very nice thing people did for you.

  31. Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
