Flashback Friday Proof

Hello Friends.

Seems yesterday there were a few disbelievers as to my fish catching ability.  I am here to tell you, and I know some of you already know this, I can and do catch fish.  Below is a fish I caught last summer on a backpacking trip with my MOM.

Like I said yesterday, first you have to survey the area.

And it is always good to have a friend to help ya out.  (that's my gal pal, Belle.  She was on our trip too).  She sort of rounds up the fish like cattle, and they swim closer to me.

Then all quiet like you swoop in.  Or you can pounce, what ever your style is.  I like the swoop style, it works for me.

And then you catch a nice big Brook Trout.  Easy Peezy.

I thought I would like to have sushi, but MOM said she would cook in over a fire.

"Hey MOM when are you going to cook the fish.  We are hungry."

She said we would need to wait for dinner time.

So while we waited for dinner time Belle and I did some tree rat hunting.

Life is indeed Beautiful. 

Being out in God's glorious and wonderful creation with my MOM and Belle.  Taking long hikes, and chasing tree rats.  Taking in the beauty all around, catching fish and eating them up by camp fire.  This is the beautiful life I dream about and for me it is often the life I live.
