Happy Easter

Hello Friends.

MOM and I want to wish you the happiest Easter.  My MOM started a tradition in our church years ago.  Many churches, ours included, put Easter Lilies in the sanctuary for Easter.  People in our church sponsor the Lilies in memory and or honor of someone.  Then my MOM had an idea.  And idea that would help those in need and we think also helps spread the message of Easter and love.

Now people can sponsor a Easter food bag in honor or memory of someone.  These food bags will be given to those in need in our community.  Each bag has enough food to feed a family of 4 for 5 days.  I think they are every bit as beautiful as the Easter Lilies.  I gave my MOM some of my treat money to sponsor one of these bags in honor of YOU, my friends in Blogville.  You all are such a blessing to me and my MOM.

I know I have shared this before, butt for those of you who are wondering how the bunny came to be associated with Easter here is your answer.  The Easter Bunny came about because of the Prince of Peace.

Happy Easter my friends!!!
Blessings,
Goose

  20. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A great read. eevs.net
