Hello Friends.
Almost a year ago my MOM got me this treat puzzle for my birthday. I mastered it in like 20 seconds. Then I went a step further and thought outside the box and found an even better way to get the treats out. I still enjoy it even today. I mean it gives me treats, and I might add, for very little work.
While I do not mind hard work, I have to say that the saying "Work smarter not harder" really applies here. Why flip the flaps up to get the treat when you can just turn the whole thing over and get them all at once. MOM says she is in search of a tougher puzzle for my birthday this year. If you have any suggestions let her know. I say "BRING IT ON!" Butt she better hurry the day is almost here.
Blessings,
Goose
That IS working smart, Goose!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Hahahahahaasaaaaa! I have that same puzzle and I did not know that trick. This is gonna be GREAT!!!!! Thank you thank you for that tip!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou did excellent work on that puzzle.
ReplyDeleteBOL, that is smart!
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteI did love watching you annihilate those treatz - you could flip for a pancake place!! Is there such a thing as a Rubik cube for the super-intello dogs?? That would be more your style dear Goose! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Buddy, I think you's just too smart! :)
ReplyDeleteYou need one of those gumball machines!
We were told that Petco has those puzzle toys on clearance for around $5. Tell your Mom to buy you more. LOL
ReplyDeletei need one of these to feed Jake, we put dry food in her bowl and his bowl and he scoffs his out like a vacuum swallowing it whole, baby chews each piece... takes 3 times as long to eat the same amount. this would slow Jake down
ReplyDeleteOh that's not easy to find a tougher puzzle for a Weimaraner. I solved my wooden thingy within some minutes too and then I removed the flaps, so we have a new bowl now. Maybe you can find one for a silvermistygrey genius at nina-ottosson.com? Butt probably we are toooooo smart for doggy-toys. How about a chemistry-set or a robodog-kit?
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Goose, you are a genius!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever played with one of these? http://www.wag.com/dog/p/kyjen-plush-puppies-hide-a-squirrel-102190?site=CA&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc_W&utm_term=ZYN-040&utm_campaign=GooglePLA&CAWELAID=1323875317&utm_content=pla&ca_sku=ZYN-040&ca_gpa=pla&ca_kw={keyword}

ReplyDeleteWe never had much luck with those toys. Sam figured them out super quick and Monty just didn't care. Harlow doesn't even try - even though she wants the treat.

Do you believe we have to work for treats! However, I do love my puzzle toy.
ReplyDeleteLily
OUR mom keeps threatening to get us one of those to make us earns our snacks.
ReplyDeleteAngus McConnell
Yeah that's kind of what we did with ours. Why play the game when you can just eat the treats.
ReplyDeleteWell, you are MIGHTY smart, Goose! We'd most likely just dump it over or break it. One of the two. We'll keep an eye out for a challenging puzzle for you!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
maybe the peg kind were they have to grab it with their teeth and pull it out to get the treat underneath.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I have one of these. I have to ask my mama to get it out and I can try your new and improved technique.

ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! You are indeed very clever! The humans never realize that we're actually smarter than they are...
ReplyDeleteMy pups have the Buster cube (small size). I fill it with treats and they have to push the cube with their nose to get the treats to fall out of the openings.

Hi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteMy Human got me one of those Kong thingies that you stuff the treats into and there is a hole in the top, nothing to open. I just keep bouncing it around. What my Human doesn't like about it is that she can't take it apart to wash it and has to put the treats in the hole on the top, which is the hole where the treats come out.
I don't get to play with it much anymore because I learned to bounce it against the wall and it left black streaks.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Goose you are quicker than greased lightning.
