Passing the Time

Hello Friends.

I thought I would show you how I pass the time at Bert's Place while I am waiting for my MOM to come get me.

Me holding down the couch.

Me looking out at the world.

Being ever vigilant.
I would not want my MOM to think I was not watching for her.  Miss Vickie is very sweet and makes sure I have a comfortable spot to sit on as I watch for my MOM.  She knows it is exhausting working, waiting for a mom.
Blessings,
Goose

  12. You're doing a great job at two things: watching for Mom and keeping a seat warm for Miss. Vickie.

Hope you didn't have to wait too long.

  13. Waiting for a mom is a hard job... I agree :o) Wish you would be my neighbor, then we could wait together while reading comics or doing some mischief :o)

Waiting for Mom can be a bit overwhelming at times too! I'm thinking that probably you have a bit of game and a relax before taking guard - am I right? I hope so! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty

  15. you are doing exactly what Jake does when his daddy is gone in the truck. he waits and waits and waits. when i leave home, and daddy is here, he does not wait for mommy. he is daddy's boy like you are mommy's boy.... and i must say you look so handsome in wait mode

  16. Yep, looking for that peep is a demanding job, but well worth the wait!

  17. Goose sweetie...when you love someone as much as you love your mom it is difficult to be separated..I bet dollars to doughnuts your mom sits watching the clock until she come come for you!!! Precious pics and Ms Vickie is very considerate.

MOL about my sis and boxes. According to Mom my human sis is a perfect daughter...According to me human sis and I have agreed to disagree...I really don't like my human sis so I always fabricate fibs on her. Mom says the problem is Sis and I have never lived together. Milky-Way, RIP, and my sis were glued at the hips. We think there are two reasons, 1. sis and her hubby sleep upstairs in sis's former bedroom. That is where I like my afternoon naps but I won't go in there when they are here. 2. Sis smells like her cat. Mom says I think sis is a big cat come to take over. I hope you don't think less of me but I often hiss at my sis which I'm sure she deserves. MOL

  19. You are very lucky to have such a cushy spot to pass the time AND to wait for Mom. Phantom likes to sit by the back door with his snooter at the crack at the bottom of the door while he waits for our Mom - nothing like a nice comfy sofa.

  26. Hey Goose, this explains why you were so upset when My Vickie took that couch and put it into the small dog room. You lost your "Watching Perch" I told her how much you liked that spot and so she said she would move the lazy boy over by the window for you. That way you can still watch for your mom on hot days. next to the airconditioner.

    Love ya buddy
